something important I wanna say to any new player starting deepwoken, please and I mean PLEASE don't listen to people that tell you you're trash when you ask how to fight a pve npc. what I mean by that is, if you die to bandits at erisia, that is NOT A BAD THING that just means you practice more and get better and better. I was once someone that died to bandits over and over but as long as you keep fighting them the progress shows so fast. makes me so pissed when people ask stuff like "how do I fight a thresher?" and all they get is "if you can't fight a thresher just quit bro" and source for that is I once asked that and that is the ONLY answer I got. ever. ngl, still can't consistently fight a thresher. it's normal 🙏🙏 people just wanna act so cool lmfaoo
Super sweet comment, I've just joined and I'm having problems getting past bandit leaders, Whenever I enter lower erisia from the front I get murked by high level/better players and when I enter from the side I get murked by bandits.
I've started training at the Isle until I can consistently beat the trainer, hope I'll show some progress soon.

@@grimbite5625 bandit leaders got a buff a while ago and a lot of people couldn’t fight them without mantras. if they had a dagger most people without mantras just died, so don’t worry about struggling with them. many people have gotten used to fighting them now but it’s never a sign of being trash if you’re new and can’t fight an NPC.
when i started i was so ass but after like 60 hours i can finally do a trial of one after like 10 hours of constant training it

Air dashes can also be used in conjunction with mantras and with jetstriker dashes make some mantras and aerials unreadable. Only problem for jetstriker is that you need to have momentum ,but the problem can be easily fixed by using wind gems or having talents like tailwind
Does having a speed boost reduce the time it takes to gain max momentum?
unfortunately speedboosts from other sources other than running do not count towards the jetstriker talents
For all deepwoken newbies reading this, you can't beat a bandit? That's not a problem, all of us were in your state, you just need patience, composure, discipline and practice a lot, you'll soon see the progress

@@KillaRai9did u get better also wdym u can't leave lower go to songseeker the monks can be hard but just parry and hit until block break also keep distance and be wary of what mantras they use
one more thing to mention, ctrl + M1 will uppercut sending you into a state where you are locked in the air with your opponent (this can only be done on the ground since ctrl is the crouch key)
You can also do it in water

every time i fight a high level i feel like they do tons of damage to me but i barely do any to them, and they also somehow use 2 mantras at the same time and i get combod into a wall and half of my health is taken away, this game is unenjoyable unless youre an absolute sweat

Bought this game 1st day it came out, quit because I couldn't even defeat a bandit, and I got betrayed by high level players and got sent to The Depths.
you forgot to mention uppercuts and how they will always have priority over aerial attacks

Pvp is literally impossible man 😭. Like every time someone attacks me i ALWAYS run and 70% i just die because they have some super duper ultra speed abilities or just spamming with void walker abilities

People who are new to deepwoken this is just a relay to some people who have read comments like these. Just practice and practice sure you can come in to some bumps to your deepwoken adventure but trust me when you reach max level at least once the game gets really easy from there. Trust me. Also tip for new players. I suggest you get the isle of vigils origin and fight the trainers until you get really familiar with the combat. Once you do you can play the game however you want. All you need to remember is to block, parry, and dodge.
Summary: PLAY THE F*CKING GAME.
