A video on how to make a track in the style of the All Day I Dream label would be cool. For example artists such as Volen Sentir, Lee Burridge, Tim Green and Sebastian Leger. Thanks! :)
Awesome but i think BDP uses mostly analog instruments. Still bro that analog stabby pad sounds great with the fx!! I mean in your opinion does it makes a huge difference in the final’output? Or more precisely can you produce music that is as good as analog with only digital?
You can absolutely produce music that sounds as "good" as analog. Analog hardware is loved for its tactile, intuitive hands on control and also for its "alive" sound, stemming from the imperfections and tolerances of all the many analog components. That being said, "analog sound" is just a perception. Very clean sounding, almost digitally pristine music can be made on most modern analog gear, and likewise analog sounding music can be made entirely within a DAW, in the right hands that is. If you consider the recent lofi house craze, many of those producers work completely 'inside the box' and yet its the most analog sounding music ever. VST's are very advanced in their modeling now, with synths like Diva and many incredible sounding saturation/distortion/filters/bitcrush etc. You simply experiment until you achieve what you're after, and once you master that plugin chain, you save it and continue using it on future projects.
this has been one of my favorite tracks for many years, and its made by Maya Jane Coles in her early days. In interviews she talked about how she mostly just used her laptop, or sometimes recorded some guitar. Otherwise no special gear. I think it sounds extremely ear pleasing and "analog" ua-cam.com/video/pbSY7Gm94qA/v-deo.html
Thank youu! bought the pack Some more Serum Presets like you did with Zen World would be nice too since I dont use Ableton and it can be hard to recreate the sounds.
