Jimin's voice is so special and unique I don't get how it takes so long for people to realize that
Nataly Schneider right? His was the very first voice that I was drawn to because it was so unique.
It was the first voice I noticed which got me interested when I didnt know bts or any of their names. I remember it was the intro in gogo and I had to look up who was singing. I love his voice its just so unique and hits you the right way I dont know how to describe it, it just sounds good!!
Just to clarify.
Only jungkook had vocal backround, he was a vocalist since the beginning, he learned to sing since so young.
Taehyung didnt sing, he was just with with his friend when a big hit staff spoted him and told him to try and he was selected.
Jin was a major in acting and he wanted to debut as an actor so he didnt had any vocal training before.
Jimin was a dancer, he born to dance and perfom, so he didnt have time to train his vocals, he was more occuped with his dancing skills to actually have vocal classes.
So yeah, the only one who "born with the vocals skills" is jungkookie, thats why he is main vocalist and he is the most stable in the group, the others had and still practice to this day to be perfect (they already are but they want to grow as artist and i admire that a lot) they have such beautiful voices :( i love them 💜

No worries on your opinion (really--everyone's entitled to their own) but as a Hoseok stan, I would be remiss if I didn't let you know that Hoseok has always been a sub-vocalist and he's been serving vocals on their albums since their first (e.g. "I Like It"). On their latest album he sings a lot like in Mikrokosmos, and Make it Right and even his parts in Boy With Luv and Heartbeat (from the OST) are kind of vocals. Just letting you know that ARMYs all know Hoseok is a vocal king. His accent is definitely distinct and I would be lying if I said it didn't take me a hot second to warm to it (it's weird to even type that now bc I honestly LOVE everything about his tone now). But anyway, just so you know--this isn't that different for Hoseok. He's sort of known for his versatility and has been giving us a range from vocals to hard raps from day 1. :)
Ikr....he’s missing out on the rapline vocals
For me the MV, there’s two ways to interpret it. One way: the lyrics and based on some scenes, it’s saying that there will be a time you will fall into a dark place. But in that dark place, at some time, light will shine through it. Like in Namjoon’s verse, “dawn will come to the darkness of night.” Meaning that yes we’re stuck in this dark scary zone, but there’s always this light. There’s always someone to be there for us *when jungkook was in the theater and he turned around to see the bright light with Jimin and Tae standing there* that we are in a slump, but our voices can still be heard.
The 2nd way to interpret this MV: through the storyline. BTS have a storyline connected from their MVs back in 2015 and is still continuing still now. (I think it’s coming to an end soon based on the information, but that’s another story) so in this, Seokjin is freezing the time, like how he travels back in time to save the boys in the other Mvs. But then we have Namjoon unfreezing it. Which can mean that Namjoon has found out about Seokjin’s powers or sum like that.

Lights is BTS’ 10th japanese single and it’s about BTS being each other’s light, they complete each other and shine when they’re together and the mv shows their close relationship and how they love each other
Yes, you are right. A person who didn't sing at an early age should try harder. But... Jin had to work much harder. Because at that time, Jin was a talented university student of the theater and film department who passed the high entrance pompetition rate of 201 : 1. His vocal trainer said "He was more used to acting vocalization, so it was hard to change to singing vocalization. Because it is easier to train a person who has't basement to sing at all" . So she so touched by his change, improvement and efforts when she got the text message 4 a.m from Jin. Jin wrote her the message that he covered a song on the sound cloud. She cried when she listened the cover song.
yeah not to mention, he also have to learn dancing from basic.. thats why I respect n love him a lot..

Its a myth fact among the fandom.Hobi was trained as a rapper all the way before Tae even joined bighit and they were meant to debut a hip hop group rather than a kpop group with vocalists.

Hoseok actually was supposed to be a singer but they changed his position in the group so he really practiced rapping so hard , and he have some singing lines in some of their songs, but sometimes he raps slowely and in a way which may sound like he is singing 💜

For SUGA’s singing voice, I highly recommend SEESAW. for JHOPE’s vocals, watch the SPRING DAY COMEBACK STAGE. He comes out singing the first verse that had been RM’s in the MV. Fans were very upset the day the song dropped, because JH had literally no solo lines in SD. So for the live performance the very next day, they quickly re-assigned that first part to JH, and he sounds beautiful!
As for V’s hair color, it was the same blue for the BOY WITH LUV MV, so I think they filmed these two MVs right around the same time.
LIGHTS is slowly growing on me. The first couple times I heard it, I found it hard to find a melody or chorus to hold onto. But now that my brain has had more time to get used to it, I’m liking it more & more. Everybody’s voice sounds great!

FYI Aaron Hoseok is not new in singing some parts on BTS’s songs check out spring day comeback show performances and you’ll see. Hoseok has a beautiful voice and I love it so much he’s not the Golden Hyung for nothing.

part of the reason both hobi and yoongi went with a vocal approach to this is probably not only the song style but also because rapping in japanese isn't something they're perfect at. at least that's what i'd assume, they never really shine in the japanese releases

I find it interesting that you are seeing this which is Japanese owned by Universal not BigHit. Japan is extremely severe at claiming ownership and giving out strikes. This song "Lights" is part of BTS Japanese album just released which they do annually since 2015. The song specifically written & sung in Japanese as is all the songs on this album including all their BTS songs previously released in Korean, but sung in Japanese instead! They not only do this every year but tour Japan right after the release which they will be doing now! All BTS members especially RM & Jimin are fluent in Japanese! So please keep this warning in mind. Hopefully you'll be safe and Universal Japan will only claim ownership of song for monetarily and not give out the strikes they usually do!!

I can't help but get emotional at this video and this song... Just thinking of how far they've come and my LAWD😢that one part where Jin was alone watching the rest of the boys on the screen, I saw it as him looking out for them. There's a storyline to each music video as well as fan theories in order to fully understand it. But I just saw it as Jin watching out for them😢❤❤and seeing them all like grouped up like RM, Jin, and J-Hope, Suga and Jungkook, and Taehyung and Jimin, seeing them all smiling and happy together just moves me every time and I can't help but get emotional every single time. Every men in Korea are required to join in military when they r already on their 20's. They'll be staying there for 2 years. Idk what's the reason but this has been their tradition ever since.
