MARTIN SCORSESE: GANGS, WOLVES, and DE NIRO vs. DICAPRIO battle - A Documentary | Life Story | Ep. 2

  • Part 1: • MARTIN SCORSESE: Goodf...
Martin Scorsese allows us to touch the magic of cinema with enviable regularity. For more than fifty years, he has been giving us great pictures. His style is exemplary. 26 feature films, dozens of documentaries and a couple of great series. His collaborations with De Niro, Pesci, Daniel Day Lewis and, of course, Leonardo DiCaprio bring out the best in these great actors. And his ability to turn books into visual storytelling is rightfully considered unique. Whether it's the love story "The Age of Innocence", the religious drama "Silence" or the crazy immoral memoir "The Wolf of Wall Street". For the second part of the biography, I came up with a title that says it all: "30 years. 13 films. 9 Oscar nominations. 1 genius."
I hope Martin's biography will be two hours of informative and exciting content for you. Happy viewing.

I just can't appreciate you guys enough. I am a young film student from Nepal and this documentary of my favourite director has made me love my passion even more. The honest nature of this biography sheds the myth of an overnight success in film industry and honestly inspires me to be consistent and work hard until the day I can. Thank you so much for this. You guys deserve a lot more praise and applaud then I could ever possibly give. I will however do my part and share these documentaries to whoever and wherever I can.

Thoroughly enjoyed this, once again. Scorsese's such a character, even if you're not a film buff- his career is a triumph of passion which reflects in all his work despite what critics and the money says each time. Every film has something special to gain, to learn, and to enjoy. One of the very few directors who's films I can just watch regardless of the what, where, or why.
I hope all these documentaries you do continue to prove much the same. Thank you.

Well, I'm happy to say that I was wrong! I love documentary films and watch quite a few of them. You have such talent. Such talent. This does not look or feel like "a UA-cam video about Martin Scorcese..." This documentary deserves many more views! It also deserves to be picked up by a major studio or production company!! Couldn't agree more. It was annoying every time I heard someone complain about the running time of the film. I'll take a three and a half hour masterpiece by Scorsese any day of the week over a two hour mindless piece of crap that is put out purely for money. All of the performances were top notch, De Niro's was underrated. I enjoyed every minute of it, the editing, music, performances, cinematography were all a thing to behold, great storytelling by Scorsese as always.

Costner getting it over Scorsese in 1990 for Dances with Wolves was insane, GoodFellas was one of the best films ever made, without a doubt superior to Costner's film. Agreed regarding Raging Bull also, another one of the greatest films made. He got shafted several times before The Departed.

Great work!! Splendid. Many informative insights about Scorsese and his dedication for cinema. Hopefully, this would teach the lesson to some kids who were arguing about his comment about some franchises. Loved the way you edited, especially while sinking cinematic dialogues with the topic you were discussing (that made this so entertaining to watch) looking more works like this from you and your team (if there's any) . One bad thing about this is, I felt that... How could you? How tf could you ignored that problem of taxi driver censorship cut had happened between marty and production company haha ( he literally confessed that he had a gun with him while discussing about cutting few scenes from taxi driver.) This would have been a badass moment in this epic if you added it. Again it's a great work. Wish you peoples get more recognition here. Keep doing this amazing work!!

Having worked in EMS myself..and with a guy from NY Hells Kitchen....I can attest that the 1st half of the movie, Bringing Out the Dead....is very true to life....

First time I saw a Scorsese film was Who's That Knocking at my Door ( 1967 ) I knew I was seeing something unique. Scorsese films have a vibe of their own. Thank you, loved this. Great information and great narration, subbed and rang the bell. :o)

So I just watched the Once upon a time in America documentary. I have never seen any of this channels work before and I was very impressed. So of course I immediately did a search, and not five minutes ago finished the Scorsese piece. I am a huge movie fan, and I love behind the scenes presentations. I have to say with all honesty. I don't think I have every watched more entertaining or insightful documentaries of this type. Had me glued, for the last two hours. Just great, I particularly liked how clear you made the close associations over the years of various directors, writers, cast, locations, etc. Just very well done, I was very entertained.

Thank you very much for your words. I´m very glad to know you enjoyed it! We will do our best to improve our documentaries even more.
By the way, this is the second part of Martin Scorsese´s biography. There is the first one on the channel. We totally made about 4 hours of content about him. Our target was to make the greatest and completest work about Scorsese. We hope that some day we will able to make the third part but with his permission, help and insides.
