Calico critters always make me think of cute Grandma decor that you would see on her do not touch(play) with shelf in her home like next to her very expensive only for really special occasions tea set. They are soft and delicate and so they just make me think of gradmas in a good way not like a mean way to mock anyone who likes them. They gives me cozy home vibes and I can also see the seasonal ones being put out for holidays because of how cute they are.

Oh! Calico Critters brought back such interesting memories! I was a sick child. My therapist's office had an entire Calico Critters community behind an acrylic case. I loved going to that office even though children weren't allowed to play with them. Every time I went, the Calico Critters would be arranged in different ways, so it confirmed my belief that toys moved when no one was around. This was a decade before Toy Story, btw so I thought I had to keep their secret, or they'd lose their ability to move.

@froggycrossing Thanks. I felt silly after I posted it. People assume children's hospitals are nothing but sadness, but all of the adults went out of their way to make it seem like a magical place. If you ever have extra time, I think you'd make an excellent volunteer. Volunteers just share their hobbies with kids & it's one of the main reasons I find so much peace & joy in crafting & drawing over 25 years after leaving.

I love the mee-mows!! I found a mystery box plushie at Target on sale right after Christmas, and it was SO worth it. I got a galaxy cat and it’s sooo cute I almost cried when I saw it’s face. It’s also very soft and squishy- highly recommend their plushies.

I had some calico critters back in the 90s when I was kid. Nice to see they are still around! I have to avoid blind bags as I'm a sucker for cute stuff. I have absolutely no luck with getting the ones I really want and not ending up with duplicates too, lol
that's so neat! I also have to avoid them I just loved them way too much as a kid, I had so so many LOL surprise dolls back when they were $20 I would spend all of my Christmas/birthday money on one of them.

I was eyeing the cinnamaroll and the kirby ones when I was at my local five below earlier this week... I ended up getting a mini fig sanrio one and getting Kuromi (my fav!). It's not fair how cute these lil blind bags are....

• The Pusheen blind bags are rarely sent in shipments and sell quickly when we do occasionally get them.
• As for duplicates please feel free to return them or even exchange them for something else or more blindbags, I’d suggest exchanging as returning runs up the stores return rate BUT don’t be discouraged by me saying that as it doesn’t affect a whole lot and we’d much rather our customers leave happy and having had fun!

I turn the aphmau cat duplicates into necklaces and keychains 😅 my niece kept getting this strawberry shortcake cat when she wanted the pancake cat from one of the earlier series, so she gave me the dupes and I turned them into a long necklace and a keychain for her backpack. Needless to say, she was glad to give them a home still
