Remember we are governed by consent. We need to tell MPs that we don't give consent to these acts without asking the public first,if they don't get rid of these acts, we will get rid of the MPs. That goes for all the uk, just remember MPs you might have to get a job where you have to WORK.

Do they realise how ridiculously easy it would be to walk in there with a covert camera and they'd know no better 🤣 perhaps what actual terrorists would likely do.
It's like airport security saying can you please stop carrying that knife on to a plane, putting it away and then carrying one on covertly without them searching you. Not going to happen, because there's an actual threat from carrying a knife on to a plane. If there was an actual terrorist threat from videoing they'd search everyone entering at the gate for a camera etc. This "terrorist" card they pull has gone too far and gets abused as a catch all excuse to do what they want.

That Justice and Security Act resembles another type of 'we-just-don't-like you' power. There must be some state guidelines (I'll be taking a look) for using this section-I doubt if simply stating suspicious behaviour or overtly filming are sufficient grounds .
Many UK auditors have successfully used HNK solicitors to challenge such grounds for a stop and search-I don't suppose NI has any such service available; it is still rare here too for auditors to get any kind of legal help from solicitors or lawful assistance from police when assaulted or robbed of equipment. PINAC

@@CJAuditsAuditingNI I can't say for sure but it appears to be that Section 21 (1) states the power which is to be used in conjucntion with (2).
It is ambiguous; if (1) applies alone as written then there is no limit to a stop-it would be the equivalent of 'Paperz Pleasz.' So I am surmising that (1) is not meant to be used alone but for the grounds as clarified in (2). What do you think-obviously you are not stopped regarding the reasons stated in (2) ?
Ps Section 43; it has been clearly outlined by the NPCC memo (which INCLUDES NI) that overtly filming around a police building is NOT sufficient grounds for a section 43 search.

You need to go and educate yourself on the CODE OF PRACTICE FOR THE EXERCISE OF POWERS IN THE JUSTICE AND SECURITY (NORTHERN IRELAND) ACT 2007. I'd recommend 5-5:15 and 8:18 . Clearly PSNI enjoy abusing their powers and are a disgrace to the Irish people. Big deal you've been there, I have relatives who lived there during the Troubles.

I would not have stopped talking. Instead I would have reprimanded her for babbling senlessly her non-ethical directives. Unless you are breaking a law she should shut her mouth unless it is to say, "Yes sir." Police are supposed to be public servants. You can't educate the uneducatable. They definitely need a better approach to the public. I understand their saftey is under threat, mine would be aswell if I spoke to people like that.
FFS what on earth is going on? Wee the Public pay taxes to allow recording to happen in Public Buildings which wee the People Provide for our Public Resources. However, if a member of the Public wishes to keep there own record of recording, they are not allowed? The extra cost of recording is at the expense of the Private Citizen and not the tax payer. Which Police Officers refuse Public Citizens the right to record in Public Buildings which the Public pay for and provide CCTV footage for all Public services. Though Public Citizens don't have the right to recordings which wee the Public already provide......Am confused?
The problem is police belive they are above the people, big mistake we pay them mistake, law suite, it's getting true slowly, your making a big difference don't use you rights loose them

B is if the police beat you up etc Cat C is stuff they don't take seriously and therefore even if you give them video evidence they'll try and write it off. Phil Doran only deals with Cat C .... He's a write off merchant. Stacks of complaints against him! If he gets assigned to you contact his boss and say you want another because he's predudiced. Good man on the PayPal!
