Very nice model mate, looks great and thanks for the review :)
I've taken parts of mine back today for the poor production quality on certain components in the kit. Once again we unfortunately have an example of poor production consistency and quality comparing against your example. Oh well, it makes for some good channel content ;)

leakycheese That's pretty bad but as always thank you for sharing your journey with us. Surely there has to be a point where senior management get involved. There must be more steps they can take on top of paying humans to check parts. Other than making them in plastic 😂

Sup3rSaiy3n I can feel a letter brewing on this one but lets wait and see. I think in this instance we have a problem with the people who are making the production moulds as opposed to those packing the kits (who no matter how hard they try can't spot issues with poor fit and incorrectly sized parts).

Looking back at this video and £13 postage 🤯...FW new postage pricing is so much better!

I'm going to be That Guy and say that they are the CUS-TOE-DEEZ. Unless you also pronounce the Space Marines as AS-STARTS, they need the 'ees" at the end.
But you did a good job with the review! I do have a question though: how much did you have to apply your heat gun to assemble it? I've never had a good time with FW models. The Chinese recasts I've seen were higher quality for a 1/3 of the price.

Great collection and a lovely start on the paint work too! Is that the Forge World gold?

cruorangelussilicis Thanks. No that's the retributor spray. Think it's about £17 a can but with it imo. Used it for all my custodian models so far.

    Hi,
I'm looking for some help. I'm building a Custodies battle force and am trying to scratch build a few vehicles but though I can scale the parts off the phots that I've found I haven't been able to find a baseline to work from. What I'm looking for is a measurement, "Length, width and or heigh" for pontoon on any of the models.
    Gladius Grav-tank
    Caladius Grav-tank Annihilator
    Coronus Grav-carrier
    Pallas Grav-AttackAres Gunship
    Orian Assault Dropship
    Thanks in advance.

I do like this model and the Calidius, and I think they would be useful in a game. The Pallas however.... One of my mates came up with the point that if the Pallas gets immobilised, then it's useless - unless your opponant is stupid enough to put something right in fron of it of course, lol. but even then, it's a nice looking model. But a Land Speeder is better in game terms.

zednotzee7 The rules aren't out so I can't really comment on a Pallas vs land speeder.

Obviously not, lol. But I think FW have dropped the ball a bit on this one with regard to game play ( if they say those fixed weapons can actually rotate a bit, they will get a " not very happy " email from me wanting to know what's happened to WYSIWYG ). I can understand that a top mounted turret might have made it look a bit too much like an eldar or tau grav-tank, but why couldn't they have given it a chin turret or something ?

zednotzee7 I understand where you're coming from as game terms would dictate the whole vehicle having to move to draw line of sight thus revealing possible weaker side armour. This may be the price to pay on a vindicator but not on a large transport.

If I remember my ( admittedly old ) fluff correctly, the Vindicator was intended as a siege / assault gun, meant for destroying enemy emplacements and supporting the land raider assault tank ( who's job was to get troops - especially terminators - into combat ). And as such, was never intended to get involved in tank battles. So their lack of traverse capability is of little importance. the main battle tanks ( as we think of such things nowadays ) of the Space Marines was the Predator ( which at the time was promoted as a dread killer, there not being many Xenos vehicles much less tanks to be had ). Which when you look at the models makes sense. Of course, the land Raider could get involved as well, but with it's side-mounted anti-tank weapons and size it was not optimal for the task. In fact, in my opinion, the Predator is one of the best tanks in the game. It has decent armour, can be configured for different tasks, and doesn't cost too many points. I'm surprised people don't use them more tbh.

zednotzee7 Predators are great and I plan on expanding my pool of them once all of this gathering storm and Inferno business is out of the way. Would still like side armour 12 instead of 11 though.
In terms of the three Legio tanks choosing what to fire at and which side armour to show will be a tactical decision in game. Kind of like the knights shield.

While they look cool, Ive never liked the idea of custodes using vechiles. Theyve always struck me as not wuite needing that kind af armored support. For example in First Heretic, Theyre fighting these big things that are powerful enough to destroy a vindicator. But the custodes just mind their own business and doesnt care.
