I rolled a greater affix:mages on pants Got lucky again and hit masterwork 2 times on gloves for...you guessed it more skeletal mage mastery. Im currently running 85's with all gear at tier 2 masterwork and im absolutely loving the blight minion build with the iron golem sacrifice 👍. Im getting rid of grasping veins so i can easily get to 100 lol. A wasted aspect is definitely crippling for my build. Thank you and have a fun time creting content and slaying demons.

Most likely because it's just additive damage, not a multiplier, and the secondary bonus is minion resists, which they don't seem to need. You're always better off going for glyphs with multipliers. 10x is better than +40

Writing this in the afterlife. I had a shot every time he said "broken" 😂. Seriously though this build was pretty easy to get going and its gotten me to Pit 72 in about 3 days post 100. Nightmare 100s can be done half asleep, but tormented bosses are still a skill issue. Great build.
I believe that all size temperings are capped at 100% cumulative, so I think you have one too many for corpse trendills, I would consider changing it to decrepify
would u use grandfather or harlequin? for harlequin you would lose hardened bones but you would get the +4 on decrepify blood mist and tendrils for lower cd and more dmg reduction. but dont know how to fit in Grandfather
Shako gives 20% DR so you would just be losing 5% if you have a maxed Hardened bones. You get life, all stats, CDR and the +4. I def think it’s worth it. Wondering about GF…

Got to the point where it was said that you need a Uber unique to run the build. Guess that’s a no from me. If you need a Uber unique item to make something work, it isn’t for the general populace… even those of us that have lots of hours in the game and haven’t found a single one.
RMT buyers are the only ones with ubers 3 days into the season tbh. Either that or they should go buy lottery tickets because they are life's favored ones. On average, I've gotten uber drops within 200 or so Duriel runs. I think that's actually on the favorable side of RNG in and of itself. These early season videos are always a dead giveaway of who buys mats and who doesn't. If it's not a streamer with a massive audience of sycophants who basically pool together their mats so their favored streamer can have a free ride toward ubers, then they're buying mats.

late response, but in case you're still wondering it's because minions don't care about the base attack speed of your weapon, but their damage is based on the damage per hit of the your weapon. That's why the slowest weapon with biggest damage per hit is what you want for minions
Yes, and no. Grasping vein gives us (and by "reflection" to the minion because they inherit our stats, the critical strike chance. But not the critical damage multiplier, because grasping vein says that enemies take more critical strike damage from you (and your minions are not you). So grasping vein is not bugged (except for the ring of sacrilegious part, that's not proccing the aspect at all). So if you use a bonespear build for example, where you do the damage, grasping vein works fine, but if you are using minions, only the first part (crit chance) applies to the minions, but not the second part (crit damage multi). And macrobioboi agrees with this (and it's something that you can also test yourself for confirmation

I think the point of Tyrael is the elemental resistances / max resistances / DR that you get and also your minions inherit. I don’t think it’s about the bolts that shoot from you. I could be wrong tho
The build on mobalytics is a dumpster fire. In your 116 clear you have well over armor cap, something like 9700+ armor also missing a gem in your neck. Running the build to the T will leave you nearly 3000+ armor under the cap. I feel the bulld posted is some theoretical build rather than practical. All clear videos of mage necros hit armor cap. Another factoid is, all the good necromancer builds, all use 7 glyphs. Does this build do damage? Yes ,but its a paper tiger.
Build's cool yes but there's other builds that can also clear 100 without holy bolts, just saying. I just did it myself with advantage elixir using a build from discord.

Why 2h weapons are better? 2x1h weapons you can have double aspects and tempering.
aspect in 2H weapons are doubled the effects. Like you have 2 of the same aspects in 2H vs 2 different aspects in 1H weapon + off-hand.

skeletal is midgame way better, they are more consistens in DPS and faster to farm helltides for level
