Gwen Stacey is now one of my fav characters; her best appereances for me are in: Into the Spiderverse, the Amazing Spiderman1 and 2, the spectacular spiderman, the Ultimate Spiderman and Marvel Rising
Truthfully when I first saw Gwen in Spider-Man 3 I was not interested in her because Mary Jane was still number one. But later after I saw spectacular Spider-Man I realized she has a sense of defense while she was always been Spiderman girl friend before death and revived. She even became a fan favorite all the sudden.
Before Spider-Verse, she was known as Peter Parker's first love that he couldn't save. Now she's also known as the one who can kick ass as well. That is a very welcome change.
I actually already have an idea for a Ghost-Spider movie along with massive cameo’s. To me, I think the story that I came up with so far is good. And I just ding to see her in the MCU before Miles Morales…

Remember long they seem to cannot capture the style and look of spider Gwen in this early appearance even that rise show where they give her glowing blue eyes was closes till into the Spider-verse capture the comic look.
@Cowterpie idk I preferred it over the one prier to it (spectacular) especially art style wise. I assume it’s cause some of the plot is based on the clone era which alone is highly hated in the fandom so that’s my only guess as to why it’s hated. I enjoyed it personally and I grew up with the animated series (1994) and Spider-Man unlimited and liked it just as much as them.

Since every one with story continuity always ends in a cliff hanger do to show rights being passed around so much or because “it clashes with the movie coming out.” (Also yes that was why one of the shows never had a proper ending.)
I miss good old days when Gwen Stacy wasn't a Spider-Woman...Now there's a whole generation raised on lego games with her, a trilogy of movies and a freaking god-awful TV show from 2017... Why can't we have ourselves our real Gwen?

It’s a good name change IMO. The white costume does make her look rather ghostly. It’s definitely better than Spider-Gwen, which is hardly a way to maintain her secret identity.
