We ran this in our clan PvP nights and it was genuinely not fair
Clan likes to do this a control once in a while, 6 ratkings, no zone caps, move as a group, rat king only. We can only win by out killing the enemy team

I feel like visual recoil is a balancing factor in sidearms. People dont realize how much damage sidearms actually put out.
iirc they mentioned in the patch notes that they changed the recoil cuz when stacking with it the recoil before was really bad since the firerate was so high recoil like that just didn't work well

I love Rat King have about 20k kills in crucible with it. Before they nerfed Omni that was so good with it because every kill with Rat King gave you invis, healing, and the resist from Omni as well. Such a fun loadout that all my friends hated in privates.

Btw wallah if you think Rat King's Recoil is good, then you forgot about Devil's Ruin. Devil's Ruin objectively had the BEST Recoil of any sidearm in the game
I just wish they'd fix the damn connection in PVP. I played IB on all 3 characters and can't tell you how many times enemy players are teleporting everywhere, warping around and either don't die or kill me after I kill them. Literally shoot them enough to kill them, I die, then game decides "oh wait that other player should be dead too" and they die. It's really horrible right now. That and the 2nd grenade charge disappearing everytime you die. What a high quality pvp environment we play in.

afaik they did the change for those 0.3% of players who use it as a 6-stack and have the rat pack x5. because then it was absolutely distracting i think they said.
Wallah you have to use a gl with disruption break to be the true rat king. Harsh language was the best as you could run envious assassin + disruption break and get an auto reload after the ratking clean up to fire back to back gl shots quick. It also insta reloads when you empty and run over a brick after a rat king clean up

Of course, most if not, everybody should know this part of it, but if you have teammates also using Ratking, you have no idea how fast it mows them down.
I got people to do this in 3v3s and mind you, we were fighting meta huggers and cut them down....before the buff.

Man you should have went prism with threadling and wintershroud! That + the fragment that gives class ability when you go invis = get a kill and then do 124124124 different things.

Pistols in games, will feel better when, how they show the recoil, is put more into the screen moving than the actual gun moving. Bungie please make this more normal.

I never liked rat king because of how bouncy it was, I might have to try it now because that looks stable AF
The helmet glows when more ppl use rat king near you, it seems to only need 1 for full effect tho. Hopefully its bugged
they should do this with all sidearms

I think they did this to a few other sidearms too.
I use the keening for a while. When the final shape hit, I noticed that the sidearm’s reticle was easier to track with. It could just be something else but I thought I’d bring it up
