I was there recently and visited almost all these places mentioned here. I would like to add Bardolino. There was wine festival when we were there. Still a real cozy town even if it did not have the nice mountainous surroundings.
Great vlog we had a weeks holiday in Riva last month August 2024, absolutely loved every minute of it, can’t wait to return kind regards to you and everyone out there, Mark from Billericay in the U.K. 🇬🇧😀😀👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
A year after we lost my late husband, I took my youngest daughter on an organised coach and boat touring holiday around Lake Garda and other places. Our base was in Torbole and you are right, it is an absolutely stunning place to visit, I loved the history of Limone sul Garde, about how the natives are long livers and their genetics prove it, it is something to do with lemons if I remember right. Yes, a truly beautiful place.
Thanks so much for this info and well presented video. Me and the wife are off to Lake Garda on Wednesday. First time in Italy. Glad I found your channel. Subscribed. Love and respect ❤️
Thinking of going but not sure where, watching your video has inspired me, when do you go and when is it warmer please, we normally go to Sorrento in October
Garda is huge. The lake connects to 3 provinces, which made it a strategic stronghold for centuries. For this reason, the lake also has some sad history attached to it. For instance, Colonel William Darby, the father of the US Army Rangers, died in Torbole only days before WWII ended. But, it is a beautiful place! Fun fact about Limone (li-mon-ay): some of the natives are born with high blood pressure but cannot develop hypertension or many other medical conditions related to blood pressure. Nobody knows the reason why. It is not uncommon for them to become centenarians. Malcesine (mal-chez-e-nay) is a wonderful spot. The speck stube there is very well-known. The castle is obviously a must-see. Sirmione (seer-me-oh-nay) is an incredible experience. The Grotto tour is also a must. As testified to in this video, the spa there is amazing. Desenzano is also the starting point of the Ferrari tribute for the Mille Miglia rally. As for Riva, the carne sala, sometimes referred to as carne salada, is a must when it comes to food due to it being native to Trentino. The cascade waterfall is also very nice. Excellent, succinct video. Thanks for pointings folks towards our beautiful lake! PS: it is much prettier during the winter, but that is merely my opinion.
Thank you so much for creating this video. My husband and i are visiting Desenzano in September and this will definitely help us to enjoy our stay. Much love ❤❤
Been to largo Di garda, and will say now, everything we try and fail to get into limone XD the road to get into it is so easy to miss XP, but yeah the lake is amazing especially for families for all kinds of adventures
Hi, what tickets did you purchase for the Aquarian thermal spa? Me and my partner are looking to spend the entire day there including the evening! Thanks
I loved it over there, I am sure there are a ton of amazing options on Airbnb to check out! However, I personally did not stay overnight there, just a day trip!! ❤️😊
Hi, can I use your beautiful video on my website? We just bought a nice loft apartment in Rivoltella (Desenzano del Garda). I think it would be very nice to share your tips. Best regards, Petra van Os-de Jonge

Rule no 1. - north party of the lake. 3 best options would be: Limone, Malcezine and Torbole. Note that places on the east side (like Limone) are covered in shadow way earlier that the other side (I don’t care, my gf wanted to get tained😅). Also, don’t stress too much, feery communication is very easy, you can switch places at will.
Imagine going to Finland and paying 17 euros for a pizza that tastes like burnt toast soaked in dog pi** when you can get an exquisite pizza in italy for 8 euros. Yeah, I'm on summer holiday in Garda now, and in a few sad days I'll fly back to Finland.
L This is why Italy is the top, whereas the United Kingdom is a dump, poor, if you take away London, Northern Europe has always been jealous, belittled with pizza, while Italy has an industrial economy and exports 2ND only to Germany, Holland is racist but now that drug trafficking is the eastern mafias are based in Holland and obviously their politics is corrupt and complicit, Sweden with a car bomb, the world has turned upside down😅
