I was admitted to ICU with a very severe traumatic brain injury. My PTA lasted 20 days. I was an inpatient for 6 weeks in the neuro ward. My partner at the time spent hours each day with me, using light touch on my head. I believe this saved my life. My recovery was unexpectedly positive. I’m completing my doctorate in clinical psychology currently.
I'm so happy for you and it's so encouraging to hear such positive outcome. My husband has had a brain aneurysm 15 months ago and the initial outlook was very grim. We've been working with him even during his coma and we were told his recovery is due to our work only. I don't believe this but I know that light exercise to arms and legs helps the brain to recover. We're also placing our hands on his head. I think after seeing this and reading your post I'll continue placing my hands on his head. Thank you so much again, I wish you will complete your doctorate and enjoy your new lease of life! I'm so, so happy for you! You've made my day today! Happy Christmas!
Brain therapy and Love Energy is what has me wondering about after watching this. Years ago my girlfriend at the time had one of the most intense head-aches she had ever had and I just went to her without any idea behind it, just a spontaneous action , and lightly touched parts of her head with my hands and fingers just for only a very short time, maybe less than a minute or two and to her total amazement [mine too] the head-ache disappeared .
In the middle of our palms we find a big round portal that is linked to our hearts (right hand is the plus that can emit at much higher love frequencies, left hand is the minus, meaning it can receive a lot of energy/information). 1. Lay down and capture moment by moment in the present. 2. Truly/Sincerely ask for Gods forgiveness for all past experiences that we can't let go. It might be that you have to resolve a few things that we can't let go from our past. 3. Find a memory that is full of love, feel it, hold it, let love elevate to its highest form right in front of our third eye. If the mind is full of love it will make a link between it and the heart and the heart will begin to govern all thoughts and actions and do everything in balance ( the middle path ).
I too have an experience with light touch with my girlfriend. I start to touch her lightly then put a very light pressure to make full contact to her skin. Then after a few minutes (for about 5 minutes) I start to move lower (from head to base of neck). Every 5 minutes I lower my hands while touching her skin.....Now we have 7 kids in total.

Crainial Osteopathy has been around for very long time ..also cranial sacral therapy...I do not understand people taking work and then naming it as there own discovery...this is not new at all
T Anderson The DO who created Cranialsacral Therapy learned Cranial Osteopathy. What he did was modify it enough to fit different parameters. That is, it evolved like any other medical technique or skill. Outright stealing of past methods does happen, but Dr. Upledger has taken Cranial Osteopathy to a higher development.
I'm hearing a lot of suggestion from the operator. For the subject, the experience of intent from the operator will be extremely calming and I can't help but think this is trance work, at least at one level.
I can corroborate with the sensations this woman is feeling, as I am currently working through the blockages in the energy of my head. Four years ago I was very very unwell and I decided to take the natural route, allowing my body to respond to changes I initially made in my diet. I knew that something had gone very wrong in my field and I was afraid to push for an MRI etc. Call me foolish but I am not sure I would be here today had I gone the western route. I have meditated every day for at least 20 mins for the last year and 6 months and have experienced strong sensations of release from my body from the feet up. I am now at the head and feel that once this is cleared and the energy aligned, the field polarity will flux to a healthy state and pressure, tinnitus will be gone. Worthy of note is that my eye colour has changed in line with these releases, from brown to hazel green.
I am interested as well, working on something similar after gaining synesthesia from multiple TBIs. Doing yoga, meditation, qi gong, massage, baths, binaural beats, and herbal medicine. Its humbling starting from the ground up with yoga after practicing for twelve years, but I feel the pain and how I need to move to move through it, I still get tinnitus at times but the hyperacusis I was experiencing is less frequent.

Agree 100% with you. We are usually the last type of healing therapy that people choose but most of the time we are the only type that makes the healing possible. I hear my clients tell me about going to this Dr or this type of therapy with little to no improvement. After a few sessions, they feel much better and their body has healed itself. We are also the cheapest of all therapies.
There's new therapy - message therapy and it really works! Whilst feeling ill got an unexpected card saying such amazing things about me and immediately I felt such an improvement. Kept thinking all day about the card instead of the pain! So message therapy is the new thing!!
I've never tried this technique but would be glad to experience it. My thought is that so much of who we are, how we feel, and interpret the reasons we have dysfunction are about our personal idiosyncrasies about our belief of the world, what happened to us and how we interpret it. So even if there is no medical therapeutic value in some techniques our belief in them affects how we respond to them-psychosomatic or placebo effects are real. Problem for some of us is we don't believe in them so we don't feel a change or they don't seem to affect us.. Some of us are such critical thinkers we can't enjoy the benefits of anything we don't find proof for.
Mike Ash . What you say about beliefs is generally true I think. However, I had sought out sacral cranial therapy in the past but after ten sessions by two different therapists I found it to be useless. Then more recently I needed lymphatic drainage and the therapist did sacral cranial massage and it has been amazingly powerful in directly relieving symptoms and in the relaxation I experienced. So in my case what I believed would help in the past didn’t help at all so I no longer believed it would, but it turns out to be most helpful when I didn’t expect anything. I think it has a lot to do with the therapist too.
There are similar things in other disciplines. With Qigong one can develop "see-through" ability and can direct Qi (either your Qi or Universal Qi) through another's body to heal cells.
I have experienced e very severe burnout that took two years of my life , in this time the one think that help was light touching on my body end my head ... i did not know at the time but look like i have experience brain therapy .... it have an amazing healing effect !!!
I am amazed about their calmness in front of such a large audience. I would be all shivering and not knowing what to say. The entire experiment would not work with me because I would be so nervous.

I figured this out by myself (if it's the same thing). I am happy to finally find a name for it. I've been calling it neuroempathy. I'ma read up on this and hopefully get some scientific grounds for it. Shouldn't be too hard to measure the magnetic fields of the tissue. Wish myself luck!
@@localrachel Marvellous! 😃 I got down my asthma by like 97%, my cat allergy by 80% (now I greet cats with my face X ) and I relocate vertebras n stuff :) And when I found my friend on the ground due to a panic attack I laid my hand on the part of her back that tensed every time her angst was about to get even more angst (it was like she pumped angst into her brain) - I received her back's pushbacks, let them flow out into my calm hand response and after maybe 20-25 seconds she was relaxed said "How did you do that? That isn't what normally happens" to which I replied what I did and told her to be kind to the weak parts of her self. Often when we have inner problems (mentally and physically) we try to push away the weakness along the tensions that protect it, but weak/feeble parts of us needs extra care to heal. If you meant what I've found during my "studies" then 'craniosacral therapy'. Grounding yourself also seems to help (neutralizing your electric charge). The electrical discharge that creates a spark when you pet a cat is to different levels of charge in both your bodies - You on rubber soles and a phone in your pocket, and the cat with its feet on the ground. That which makes a rubbed balloon stick to the wall is supposedly making your tissues stick together as well. (there are implements for your shoes that ground you (pretty cheap). I hope this helped 🙂
I can confirm that this treatment (and cranial-sacral therapy) works wonders. After suffering from post-concussion syndrome this treatment has helped me regain my zest for life and sense of well-being. PLEASE give it a try if you are suffering from headaches, mood disorders, vertigo, concentration issues, foggy thinking etc.
Thank you Brandon, You are so correct. I am a cranio sacral therapist and am currently studying Biodynamic Cranio Sacral Therapy. I have had the good fortune of seeing some wonderful results with my clients for many difficult problems including chronic pain, vertigo, ADD, back pain and many digestive issues. It is of course necessary to work with a well trained practitioner who is very committed to their practice and has a great deal of integrity.
what would you say the difference between this and craniosacral therapy is? Also a post concussion person and CST has been a lifesaver, wondering if I should give this a try
No matter what Physicians believe, they write the text books, yet have not intergrated this kind of therapy, as it appears to be ridiculous. It's like not tasting your green beans because you don't like them. How do you know unless you taste? How can alternative medicine be bad when they have never been tested or have brain therapy? I am thankful for this therapy as I have TBI.
Nice to see that medical doctors are catching up with what cranio-sacral therapists and osteopaths (in Canada at least) have known for a very long time ♡
Indians have known these techniques forever. A mother and new born baby is always given a massage. More emphasise is on the head massage. As it distresses
A better camera angle would have been more supportive for what she was trying to demonstrate, or maybe a graphic/or even a slide show. I've had this done myself, and it does work. However this demo may have been confusing to a general audience.

No, as this is the promotion of fauls treatment and may cause people with real problems to shell out money for something that is proven to be untrue instead of getting real help. This mentality is how nigerian email scams became so popular..... ''He could be a prince who needs my help, who am I to say he isn't''. At best this is a scam at worse its harmful.
according to the Bible there are true spiritual gifts that the Lord Jesus gives to people He can trust with such as gifts of healing and the laying o. of hands to impart healing. The problem is there are so many phony so called faith healers that people!e don't think it really exists at all. God bless everyone and may God heal all of us wherever we hurt!
According to the person who wrote the Bible. But the person who wrote it wasn't identified so we don't know what profession he or she had apart from being a follower of such legends.
It can help ease the pain but to say that its going to take away the addiction its false I reccomend going the correct way of detoxing from an addiction and use reiki or any other preferred healing practice to ease through the process
Being present and knowing what you are palpating for, as well as knowing the science behind and having the intention to heal is the key to be a great therapist. It is around 5g of pressure or a dime, you have to have stable hand, patience and right mindset..
It can help scoliosis too. I had “idiopathic” scoliosis and looking back it was caused by a hit to the head when i was 6. My nervous system wasn’t firing equally since then and caused it. I was standing straight and it lasted for a few days after cranio sacral he cracked my chest bone too

Paul Freeman . I found myself having sacral cranial massage when I went for lymphatic drainage. It was wonderful. So you might find it that way. I had in the past had that SC Massage without results so it is often the touch and training of the therapist. Liverpool is a big area and you are bound to find someone doing it there. Good luck.
Hi Paul, yes, you will certainly find a craniosacral practitioner near you, there are quite a few therapists in the UK! The CSTA website can be useful as it has a directory of practitioners. All the best!
these techniques are taught in courses around the world. You can find courses at www.upledger.com/ You do not need tools. Chikly was part of the International Alliance of Healthcare Educators. Last year this changed and I am not sure why. The Upledger courses have given me skills like the ones she is talking about.
An interesting talk, but if the lecturer ever reads this, as someone who is genuinely interested in this, I really wish in the first 10 minutes of your presentation where was a lot less of a "Dr. Chickly said this..., Dr. Chickly discovered this, Dr. Chickly has 5 classes that he teachers, Dr. Chickly has an institute...", which felt like an advertisement for them, and more about what YOUR experience with it was andwhat YOUR discoveries have been as a professional, because after all you are one.Thank you.
She's doing that to legitimize the techniques she uses. She knows that people are sceptical of this obvious pseudoscience (look into it). So she tries to paint the picture of a practice that is well accepted and acknowledged. "The guy who discovered it has a whole institute. Well darn, this seems legit! Let's hear her out, maybe this is the right thing for me!". Spoiler: it is not legit and it's not right for you. This is pseudoscience based on belief. Look into it. The truth is out there ;)
Respect their reality. If you don't like it get out. Many are here to learn not talk to small minds. Many also benefit from this call ot what you want, but the results in each individual shows enough
Ha! I see typos all the time in major publications these days. Listen with your intuition/heart and see if the info feels right. Then you will know if it resonates with you. A typo is something for the mind to grab onto and play mind games with. If I had gone the conventional medical route in my life, I would be drugged out of my mind and would have been sliced and diced with numerous unnecessary surgeries.
Actualy it says more about you then about her if you decide everything about the talk is invalide cuz you spotted a tipo. I am dislexic and english is not my first language. So being judged solely on my soelling is something that affects me since childhood and let me tell you its not exactly the part that boosted my confidence. Be mindful of your judgment is all I am saying, and here you got some free tipos from me 😂

Try keto and fast mimmicking and just full belief that she can heal, she has to be the one that believes though. Even more important though is just living with acceptance, love, compassion and embracing life along with breathing techniques that constantly calm and put the body in a healing state. Our bodies are much, much, much more powerful than any drug at healing as long as it's not past a certain point. Mindset is everything though, when a placebo effect and when things like prayer help, it's not fluke, it's the mindset that heals. It's the positivity and energy state.
Right, but you can't prove whether they are right or wrong until you experience it for yourself. All the rest is just the mind chasing its tail with analysis and speculation.
Also, if one would like to be taken seriously, one should not write in caps. For that imitates shouting and then people would assume your a barbarian. But i do agree with you, grammar is very important.

Kinda sure to say that both methods helps your brain to keep stable ... and/or flexible 🙄
Definitions, am I right?😆 They seem so relative when you get down to what's up 🙂🙃
Flagged or otherwise...Thank you so much for this! We need more of these types of talks!
In other words, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy...
She should address that this therapy has many different names. It is so profound that the more people who experience it, the better the world will be!
Where do you learn this?
Bastyr University in Washington had classes precovid, not sure about now.
It's actually a pretty shallow scam
Crainial Osteopathy has been around for very long time ..also cranial sacral therapy...I do not understand people taking work and then naming it as there own discovery...this is not new at all
T Anderson The DO who created Cranialsacral Therapy learned Cranial Osteopathy. What he did was modify it enough to fit different parameters. That is, it evolved like any other medical technique or skill. Outright stealing of past methods does happen, but Dr. Upledger has taken Cranial Osteopathy to a higher development.
Yes, reinventing...or rebranding...the wheel so to speak. But at least people are experiencing relief from their suffering.
Yes, this left me wondering if I went deeper into learning CST or this therapy, how is it different?
@@UnityLivoniaDrumming What is CST?
@@oneofthosecreativetypes24 Craniosacral Therapy. I was wondering the same thing.
I'm hearing a lot of suggestion from the operator. For the subject, the experience of intent from the operator will be extremely calming and I can't help but think this is trance work, at least at one level.
Safer than anesthesia. LOL
How are you now ? Have you reached a point where the tinnitus is gone ? It's interesting that your eye colour has changed.
Any updates?
lauren tivoli Since it has been 9 months since this comment was made, I am very interested in hearing from you for an update.
Janise Morrison yes me to cause i got lupus and need to learn how to move the lympthetic, which i do pray, i got osterporis so i stretch. I can exercise better in summer. But im like you want to know more n probably should look on utube more. I do dry brushing. Hope u find out more if u do let me know

Happy New Year!
This talk was flagged!? I vote to unflag this! She's certainly not hurting anyone AND, moreover, she's right. I can say so from experience.
Singingway Cool! Where can I learn more.. thx

How are you getting on?

Marvellous! 😃 I got down my asthma by like 97%, my cat allergy by 80% (now I greet cats with my face X ) and I relocate vertebras n stuff :)
And when I found my friend on the ground due to a panic attack I laid my hand on the part of her back that tensed every time her angst was about to get even more angst (it was like she pumped angst into her brain) - I received her back's pushbacks, let them flow out into my calm hand response and after maybe 20-25 seconds she was relaxed said "How did you do that?
@@MS-bs8dd Can't get a soothing hug without it ^^ Hihi 😁 Thank you 😊
I can confirm that this treatment (and cranial-sacral therapy) works wonders.
Change your brain, change the pain. That's my motto anyway.
Nice to see that medical doctors are catching up with what cranio-sacral therapists and osteopaths (in Canada at least) have known for a very long time ♡
Indians have known these techniques forever. A mother and new born baby is always given a massage. More emphasise is on the head massage. As it distresses

I've had this done myself, and it does work. However this demo may have been confusing to a general audience.
They likely can't show us because you aren't meant to learn it by watching it over and over again.
Not the same as Craniosacral therapy, but similarities with Rosen Method.
Must try CST.
Psilocybine is the best brain problems solution.
This is the cranial sacral approach developed by W.G. Sutherland D.O. Which is a PART of Osteopathy.

Where do you go for this
Let her be. Do the naysayers have her education, her practical experience? If nothing else, we should at least listen. Health break thrus come from unlikely places.
This seems like fun. Where can I find out more?
A Light I agree. Even if, as others on here have been saying, it's not scientifically based, I feel like it could still be an interesting experience
according to the Bible there are true spiritual gifts that the Lord Jesus gives to people He can trust with such as gifts of healing and the laying o. of hands to impart healing.

I wish I could find one near me Liverpool uk or better still get told how to do it would be good
Paul Freeman .
All the best!
where can you learn this? Do you need tools or just hands?
these techniques are taught in courses around the world. You can find courses at www.upledger.com/ You do not need tools. Chikly was part of the International Alliance of Healthcare Educators. Last year this changed and I am not sure why. The Upledger courses have given me skills like the ones she is talking about.
Here's where I went but they teach all over the world www.upledger.com/therapies/articles.php
Uhm... that's why therapeutic massotherapy works.
The truth is out there ;)

honestly if this makes people feel better, the "science" (or lack thereof) behind it is irrelevant.

You know an old one, "Don't judge a fish by its ability to climb trees."
Ha! I see typos all the time in major publications these days. Listen with your intuition/heart and see if the info feels right. Then you will know if it resonates with you. A typo is something for the mind to grab onto and play mind games with.
If I had gone the conventional medical route in my life, I would be drugged out of my mind and would have been sliced and diced with numerous unnecessary surgeries.

will this help with dementia patients. wife has LBD and there is no cure so they say.
Anyone that relies on testimonial adverts as evidence, actually has no evidence.
Right, but you can't prove whether they are right or wrong until you experience it for yourself. All the rest is just the mind chasing its tail with analysis and speculation.
