Very nice 4K video. I was born and raised in Durham, 1955. I left in 1973 after graduating from Durham High School. I have been living in New York City for the last 50 years. The Bull City has changed so much over the years and I get lost when I come home. Thank you for sharing this video.
Very cool, Durham is def on the come up. But you're welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I love Durham i dont care what no one says. The city has grown alot.
And still growing!
@@infinite.destinations yessss all of NC is. Have you done Greensboro yet?
Yes, Greensboro videos are coming very soon 😎
@Infinite Destinations they've grown alot as well
True, North Carolina is in the top 10 most moved to states currently.
I used to live here great times I miss it ready to return when God tells me so❤
You should soon! Durham is growing fast!!
A very small Southern city. Durham and Raleigh offer an alternative to people who want to live in NC but in a much smaller city than Charlotte.
Very true, I believe Raleigh is the 2nd fastest growing city in America behind Austin, TX. Durham is not far behind either.
@@infinite.destinations It's still tiny though. Charlotte feels like more of a city.
I totally agree. Charlotte's even more than double the size of Raleigh's population
@SydneyCarton-sf3mq what about cities like Richmond and Norfolk VA? Macon Savannah and Augusta GA then? Are they small Southern cities too?
@@leonation89 Yes, but Savannah and Charleston are unique and carry far more weight for their size.
Did American cities stopped growing after the year 1940? This looks so small, maybe 15-20.000 people tops.
Durham is actually surprisingly populated with almost 300k people in the city limits.
Its must not be a very big city its like your going in circles keep seeing the same stuff
It's not a big city at all, decent population size but downtown is very small. Only a couple of somewhat tall buildings.
My suggestion: stay where you are if that's what is important to you. If you are interested in rising crime rates, riots, arson, etc. You will fair well in Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis, Boston, or anywhere on the West Coast.
Just because I enjoy cities with full skylines, doesn't mean I like all the problems that come with them or live there...
@infinite.destinations Well, try being more clear in what you are intending to impart to others. I was not meaning to insult you, or anyone else. But to consider tall buildings as being relative to livability is a little pathetic. Take a look around you and see what is going on in this Country. It doesn't improve because of tall buildings. Now, I take fault in not responding more clearly to the comments of another poster. But, take my thoughts and opinions to be MY thoughts and opinions. If you are offended, so be it. I find greater importance in trying to make others think before they write. Durham is a fine area. Just like any other city, it has problems. But they work on improving matters. The cities I pointed out have lost control. That is shameful!
At what point did I compare tall buildings to livability? That's a ridiculous statement. You're the one that seems offended. I live in the South, and I also think the West Coast and most major cities are falling apart, so I don't know why you're arguing with me. Also, you turned it political for no reason. Where do you live? It must be perfect
Great job big like 14!!!
Thanks!
