    In my opinion Speed selection should be used, 200 kts for gear down, VFE next -5 on the FCU for configuration

    Nice video!! I had one question. Why the "fuel consumption increased" due to hydraulic failure?

      It’s a nice question sir!
      At the time of the failure, some surfaces such as spoilers, ailerons, stabilizer may be extended or fixed. As a result of this, the drags may be increased.
      So in that case, pilots should consider the fuel penalty factor according to the QRH.

    very nice video captain, G+B is demanding flying , however you both handled it very well, just a suggestion put some winds and turbulence too, might give a real feeling. thank you once again,

    I noticed VLS was 131 and VAPP should be 156.... why set final speed at 151?

    hai capt..if.gear down on path decs. profile is.it ok? so.we set flaps 1 2 3 on.desc app gear down

      That procedure is for G+Y failure.
      In the case of G+Y failure, pitch trim is not working, so as the aircraft speed is reducing to approach speed, pilots should use elevators to maintain altitude.
      Then, they should set the gear down to begin descend.

      Not necessarily. As long as fully configured prior to final approach path. No reason not to configure in the usual sequence of flap 1+2, gear down, flap 3

      What Captain did is correct, gear first and flaps 1, 2 and 3. For G+Y it’s the other way round.

      Pilots should fly by Selected SPD in this case, and we did fly Selected SPD.

    Here In China,we use single engine failure+hydraulic b+g with a 30knots crosswind and 30% turbulence for a captain check😂 It sucks
