I noticed, once they ended up inside, its as if Berzerker realised that this fight was unwinable, and simply went to protect Illya as much as he could, rather than fight back.

Heracles in fact never fight Gil to defeat him but his goal was protect illya. in the Novel is said that he know from the start that if he was going to protect illya he would end up to lose but that wasn't what illya want, his wish was to be protected untile the end and Hearcles to realize his desire obtain even a 13th life to remain invincible until the finisch. Gil himself praseid him
Only Shiro and gil were the only ones who could have killed berserker once Saber killed him with Excalibur she screwed herself because only high level acts could harm him and this isn't even his strongest form he could have also been summoned as a Saber or archer
@@Darknick4_2 Saber could definitely kill Heracles, assuming she's not being limited by Shirou. If Caliburn could take out 6 lives in one shot, then Excalibur is absolutely powerful enough to bypass God Hand and continously drain all of Heracles' lives instantly.

Honestly, Berserker is a scary Heroic spirit, especially in Archer class. The man is nigh unkillable.
Heracles didn't even used His noble phantasm and some older devs Say He lost a lot Motor skills and That's why He couldn't intercept more than 3 swords/lancers From Gate of Babylon. Shirou won because He could. Shirou also won against Berserker because He copied Heracles noble phantasm in Heavens feel lll. In FGO game Hercules Archer Is Kinda okay, but in anime Would be something like Emiya + Berserker and that's really Broken
@@bluebud169 He Did Use his Noble Phantasm, which is God Hand, Allowing him to Revive. Like you said, he lost Motor Skills in exchange for Madness Enhancement and as Such he Can't Use his Nine Lives Noble Phantasm.
As well Archer Heracles hasn't been released in FGO. We get to see him In Strange Fake, although as Alcides. But yeah he is incredibly broken.

This version of him isn't the most accurate version of him even in the nasuverse (the multiverse he is apart of) This one is just a copy who has witnessed ten years of modern human civilization and basically said "fuck it" a better example would be the Gilgamesh from Fate/Extra CCC but that won't ever get translated ever.
79thinline ugg that fight almost made me cry, it's like one of the saddest scenes I've ever seen in anime.
What +darkfur3 said. However, try watching Fate/zero. Gilgamesh is more like himself there-cruel but regal, prideful. Here, due to being corrupted by an external cause (I don't wanna spoil much), he's a stereotypical anime villain.

@@xBurguerAMVs , I realize that Gilgamesh is probably the most powerful noble phantasm or whatever they call them, but as a character I absolutely hate him and he's a complete bitch. He always attacks his opponents from a significant distance, never engages directly, and is generally just a prick. The term douche-nozzle may also be applicable. Just my personal opinion.
No. Gate of Babylon is perfect counter to berserker's noble phantasm. And Enkidu is ideal restrain for demigods like Hercules.

É lógico, a habilidade do Gilgamesh consiste em invocar armas, a do Shirou/Archer é REPLICAR toda a ARMA que ele vê, então lógico que ele era o único. Ainda assim, Gilgamesh chegou a usar a Enkidu contra o Berseker a Enkidu é até mesmo mais forte que o Gate of Babylon, outro ponto, é que o próprio Gilgamesh disse "Apenas as armas de CLASSE MAIS ELEVADA funcionarão neste homem" é lógico que se o Herculues estivesse indo com tudo não iria perder daquela maneira.
Luke Strider Uchiha O máximo que iria acontecer séria o Gilgamesh invocar a EA(Enuma Aelish), assim como ele fez no episódio 11 da temporada UBW2 para destruir o braço gigante que tentou absorver ele pro graal, mas mesmo assim o Gilgamesh é intocável, pois o Berseker não é mais rápido que os reflexos do Gilgamesh como o Shirou foi.

Nah berserker was not holding back, it was just that illya was stupid enough to stay on the battlefield causing him the need to protect her.
Gilgamesh even states this that if Heracles stopped protecting illya and focused on fighting him, he had a chance of slaying him.
This is true cause Heracles is well the strongest hero given how he even broke the chains that bind gods(this shouldn't be possible since his divinity is really high) as well as resurrecting an extra time after god had was depleted. He had the means to kill Gilgamesh if he focused on offence like we saw shiroe do. You just cant beat gil while on the defense unless if you have shit like Avalon.
In fate strange fake novel, we see Heracles summoned in the archer class and here he is areal threat to Gilgamesh due to retaining his Op noble phantasms but still l dont think he can beat this gilgamesh since this incarnation is even stronger than the one he that was summoned in fate zero plus he likes his master.

Ah ela mereceu sim, existe um bad ending na VN onde se o Shirou decidir n se envolver com a guerra a Illya manda o Hercules matar ele de forma brutal e n satisfeita com isso ela coloca a alma do Shirou em um fantoche onde ele n pode se mover nem falar e brinca de tortura com ele, Gil matou ela de forma rápida e sem tanto sofrimento. Gil foi um heroi e quem odia ele por causa dessa desgraça da Illya merece levar uma tijolada

Xonei dms na morte da Ilya e do Bersek :cc (mesmo achando uma morte inutil ja que o Bersek ganharia se n estivesse protegendo a Ilya, que foi uma ocasião fofa e idiota, Ilya podia ter usado um dos comandos dela no Bersek, mas, o autor foi mt burro em n pensar em uma batalha mais complexa)... Mesmo assim, gostei do amv, só acho que faltou a morte de Ilya (não querendo passar spoiler), na minha opinião seria essencial, mas quem faz eh quem manda rsrs

Shirou ganhou do Gil sem IA, e olha q o Shirou é mais fraco q o Berserker, já q o seu eu do futuro (Archer), tirou só metade das vidas do Berserk na rota da Saber. A luta realmente poderia ter sido melhor com o Gil tendo q usar a IA, ou só se fudendo como quase aconteceu nesse final.
