I learned I am seal happy... Also cure time most important. People who order cup or coasters need to know they can get it early but won't be able to use for max cure time. Never knew that or even thought about that until a customer dented coasters because they did not wait. I put instructions in an use date got a call and said the cup left a ring I looked up the order noted the use date and they were 1 week early. There is a tip keep use by dates on orders that have left your hands. Thank you it was an eye opener.
    hugs Sheryl 💙🎨💙

If you are using a water based product you can add a little bit of water to help it level out. However, keep in mind doing so will extend the drying time.

Thank you so much for this video. I am happy to learn that I can use the Modge Podge dishwasher safe up to the rim of a mug. I saw a video a while back that said I couldn't and haven't been able to find alternatives. This makes me happy since I am thinking of starting a POD business.

What about using epoxy resin to seal vinyl? And can you create a video about the effect each sealant type has on various vinyl like, holo, glitter, glow in the dark, and metallic? For example, do these sealants reduce the sparkle or holo effect?

  • @pixxa37

Thank you very much for explaining so well, and expanding on the different scenarios, materials etc. I appreciate good tutorials and you talked expansively about what I exactly wanted to know, and now I can be a bit more informed in my choice of sealant and when/how to use it. I came here looking for information about sealing vinyl on a Starbucks tumbler I'm very attached to (I know, stupid lol). Such an elegant shape, right opening... It's the first time I got one and I am really impressed. Polycrylic is extremely dear here in the UK, no idea why, so I am looking for possible alternatives before having to buy that small tub. I was hoping Polyurethane would be a good substitute. Thank you again, I'm off watching the other videos in the series 🤓

I am using dishwasher safe mod podge on a bunch of glass plates I am decoupaging for the holidays. I need to know if I can stack the plates on top of each other during the 28 days while I wait for them to cure. Can the side with the dishwasher safe mod podge touch other dishes, or do they have to be kept free-standing? I plan to have them all made by Sept. 30, so they can cure for 28 days and be ready by Oct. 28, in plenty of time for the holidays.

I have a question that I can’t seem to find the answer anywhere. The Spotify plaques you can make. I know sealing with a floating frame isn’t necessary but what about actual plaque, keychains things like that. Especially the plaques they will need cleaned once in awhile and the pictures on the projects is done with printable vinyl so is sealing something like that necessary? Since it will be cleaned once in awhile if so what would you use for something like that?
