Lewis Brown I really like the band so it’s not hate but you have to be real... they don’t even sing well on a recorded version let alone live. You can be a technically shit singer but still be a good frontman though. Doherty is another one.. he’s actually a shite singer but I love his voice
Lewis Brown on this live version not every note, no. It gives it character I suppose.. it’s very rough around the edges and it becomes a thing where it’s more about the whole package than just a singing showcase or whatever. Like take.. I don’t know... Beyoncé perhaps.. her music and indeed her voice does absolutely nothing for me yet it’s clear to see she’s an outstanding singer. And while it would sound dreadful if the Jarmans couldn’t actually hit a note, they are so many leagues apart from actual singers it’s unreal. Like can you imagine if Beyoncé played a show and hit the odd bum note? She’d be ridiculed. Band music is different, especially this kind of band music. It would actually sound shit if they were belting it out like some ballad. I’d say whatshisface from The Strokes is one of the better singers of the ‘genre’, but can you imagine him on Xfactor or something similar? It just wouldn’t work. Horses for courses I suppose
I love these brothers. All three of them literally grew up doing this stuff. And you can tell that the music is second nature to them without even trying. That's a damn legit band
when i hear this i remmember my dirt 2 days since 2009 when i was 14 now im 20 years old guy with many dreams and many love for this world but demons are allways chasing our tagets and needs...i can only say thanks for this band many love from Tunisia srry for my english ^^
Love them had the pleasure of meeting ross the drummer he was a lovely kind person i didnt know he was in a band ,,as some celebs let it tske over but he didnt ,,x
you're right!! I was wrong!! My confusion must have been because when you hear The Cribs for the first time, I was listening to a lot of American indie rock !! and I had the feeling that they were from USA !! Thanks for correcting me!!
I like the guitar riff and the fact the guiitar player plays it and sings is awesome but both singers need to learn to sing in key..!! or is this the new standard???? Ouch...!!!!
Never knew two different people sang on this. Good to know.
Twin brothers so their voices are very similar
@@beatuplexus Thanks for the info. The more you know!
Yeah I didn't know a lot of their songs were sung by both of them till I watched the live performances.
@@akwilson1676 Same
So difficult to play and sing on guitar it's unreal! Top performance
But sing like a shit
@@carlosnashdurden3477 They're singing really good in this!

This is it! This is the most underrated band ever!
+Mr. Monk the band of a 1 song
+realyhead They have more songs and betters, and i hope someday the people recognize your music in the best posible way
+realyhead saying that you just proves that don't even listen to them -_-
Kenny Bania L I T
Well said that man
I'm 44 and seen many bands in my lifetime..These are up there with the best
ryan jarman is really underrated as a guitarist, how he can sing and play that lead part is amazing
It is possible with practice. Both parts of the brain work at the same time
if you want to be impressed with singing and playing, checkout the singer/bassist from Spacehog!
Ryan Beattie also the frontman from Rush is a total badass with bass and vocals
@@martinpreciado3585 y'all never heard of The Fall of Troy?
I couldn't play like that, my brain is like "Error 404 coordination didn't find"
I love this shit, it sets a standard for newer artists. Plus it shows you don't always need good hair to make good music

no, no, no. It's: "Rocky, Rocky, fought Apollo Creed, in Rocky Three and Rocky, Rocky, fought so more in Rocky Four".
they are americans.... but look like British boys in this performance!!!
the bassist is so similar to Alex James from Blur!!!

Cheyenne Monnier the slightly out of key singing is very typical of these garage indie rock bands. Kind of adds to the messiness of the music
@@HoudiniJam exactly right
One hit wonders. This is a great song, but they’re an awful band.
Clearly you havent listened to all their stuff, they’ve got some excellent songs
@@namenotfound4043 I have, my mates loved them so I listened to all their stuff. They’re bang average at best.
