Genesis 16:13 - She gave this name to the LORD who spoke to her: "You are the God who sees me," for she said, "I have now seen the One who sees me."

The Dead Sea Scrolls which include the Book of Daniel have been carbon dated to between 100 - 200 years before the birth of Jesus of Nazareth. He was crucified on the Passover day of preparation on a Wednesday on Nisan-14 which on the western calendar would have been in 31ad/ce. He was laid in his tomb just prior to sunset, which was the beginning of the yearly Sabbath of the Feast of Unleavened Bread on Nisan-15. To comply with his prophecy that just like Jonah, he would spend the same amount of time in his tomb as Jonah spent in the Belly of the Whale ( 3 days and 3 nights = 72 hours). Jesus of Nazareth was in his tomb from the High Sabbath (Feast of Unleavened Bread) until the end of the weekly Sabbath during that Passover week. He rose from death back to eternal life at sunset, at the beginning of Nisan-18 on the Day of First Fruits. On the western calendar the Decree in question made by Artaxerxes I in 457bc/bce, is to be found in the Book of Ezra 7: 1-10. Using the 70 Weeks Prophecy (483 years) found in the Book of Daniel takes you to 27ad/ce for the appearance of Messiah, when he was baptised by John in the River Jordan. Jesus was then cut off midweek after a three and a half year ministry in 31ad/ce. Daniel's 70 Weeks Prophecy ended at Pentecost in 34 ad/ce, with the martyrdom of Stephen.

What do you infer from this then bro. You saying the prophecy wasn't precisely inline? Interested

You use the phrase "not for himself" in v26, but I see only "have nothing". Where do you get "not for himself" out of v26? I don't see your meaning.

Question. Do the Jews ever study the Book of Daniel, to any degree?
