In this Shut Up Sunday I do a complete disassembly of a Honda CB550 Four cylinder bottom end. No talk, just work. This is a complete teardown with every step covered.
Ripping apart this exact same engine right now as my first project and these videos have been insanely helpful. The only question I have is where you got those center pullers from. I’ve been trying to get my rotor off for days and can’t seem to find them anywhere.
Thanks! I have collected these pullers over many years. But Common Motor Collective has what you need on their website. Just search rotor puller. Best! Eddie
@@theeddies yeah its practically the same but no kick start only electric start. A lot of parts are interchangeable, a lot of 550 folks put 650 cams in their engines for a performance boost.

Fantastically informative video. No nonsense, no time wasting chit chat, really we’ll filmed, just perfect 👌
Thanks!
Thanks for the video really helped me out!
You are welcome. That is why I do them. All the best!
Thank you! Life saver
Cool. Thanks for watching!
Nice video! I was just going to do this on my 650.
Thanks! I have never done a 650 but since it was a development of this engine it should be very similar. All the best and thanks for subscribing.

@@jmcclusk Cool, good to know. I am honestly not even sure if I have seen one of those motors.
