edit: i got to talk with the java guy, he's open about the usage of adobe mixamo, which was used for almost every character in the video i was talking about. had a p short deadline to do the video as well w being busy with school. i also got wrong about the video being for free, he was expecting payment for the work being completed.

I agree, but in the situation, when he asked if they were going to get paid, user said yes. After a year he broke his promise and said no payment which was very scummy but it all ended well and the animator got paid.

I know I'm late, but not really. He basically just used free animations (which removes the "animating" from the animation) and basically slapped roblox models, it's low effort garbage.

Both sides are in the wrong from the info I've seen as not only was the animator vague he also did he'd have it done for free in the initial email, and then username agreed on 25% and then revoked that promise, either username is scummy or got mixed up because he thought he'd have it done for free rather than this jumble.

Yeah he got paid, but it kinda wasn't worth that much cause pretty much most of the animation is made from open source website. And it kinda feels like you commissioned an artist on twitter and the artist just copy and pasted a art from google images.

the image that says for free was taken out of context, those are two other videos the animator gave to user. the animator ACTUALLY ASKED FOR PAYMENT on better together. instead of properly paying the animator, he offers one grand. despite agreeing to give him 25% of the profit not only for the animator, he was suppose to pay 2 other people, he payed one of them 25%, not sure about the rest. user made 18k from that vid and still can't properly pay despite being a millionaire hot damn he is a big embarrassment

Tbh the animation is outstandingly phenomenal, sure he might have just used the animations from Mixamo, its way harder than it seems, he spent 50 hours on the project, you know User needs to compensate him when he spends 50 hours on that, plus BSlick and Risa Mei also contributed to the project while User did nothing besides just upload a video, so overall I do think User should compensate them, their work, their money.
50 hours for pre-used animations is a bit excessive. I doubt he spent that long on it, he literally just used roblox meshes and then added them to the animations. He probably found a random roblox preset background and then placed certain animation ques near the map to do things. Which could literally be done in under 50 hours. Asking for fucking 10k for that type of cheap and easy work is just stupid.
