These are great fill in tangles, I love them and going to draw them for future when I need to fill a space, I am enjoying myself and usually work in a sketchbook, I really enjoy filling large areas! Thanks for sharing these!
Hi Barbara- I’m going to attempt to tangle today. I have some family trauma and could not even attempt to focus yesterday. Hopefully i can focus some today ,,,my hands are not too steady
@@notperfectzen yes it came out of the blue & is difficult 😥. But your session was perfect for me to attempt to calm down & focus on something else. Again many many thanks 🙏 💕🌸🥰
Barbara, I was surprised when you inked the string before doing the tangles. Afterall, they are only suggestions. As you proceeded. I think I figured it out. Please let me know if my assumption is correct. These were all fill-in patterns so they would be done around something already defined. Right?
I guess I could have explained it better, LOL! You are right, we don't usually ink in the string, but I did it so that we could fill each spot. I used pencil first in case I wanted to adjust it. You could actually fill each area without inking the string. That would be fun to try! Thank you for your comments. I really appreciate the feedback. 🥰
Welcome to Zentangle! I loved it as soon as I found it and still do! If you're asking about the 102 patterns on my poster, I haven't posted my list yet, but I will after I finish a few more videos. The best source for finding Zentangle patterns is the TanglePatterns.com website. I have a video that explains all the features of that website here: ua-cam.com/video/Obm3Gdqijsw/v-deo.html If you want to see a list of official Zentangle patterns (created by Zentangle, Inc.), here's the link from that same website: tanglepatterns.com/zentangles/list-of-official-tangle-patterns I use that website almost every day. I hope this helps.
Hi Barbara. Does the official step-out for Cogwheel show those variations that are on your little tile? Which one is the method shown on the official step-out? I've been trying to figure out how to draw many of the unpublished tangles. I have found examples online of all of them but I have no idea if they are correct.
Hi Linda. I drew my 2x2 tiles before I went to seminar, so I didn't have the Zenthology at that time for a reference. I had a goal to make a 2x2 tile for each of the Zentangle tiles that were in the Tangle Patterns list in early 2019. I used the Tangle List website for many of my references, but I honestly don't know where I found the Cogwheel tangleations that I showed in the video. I might have seen them in the Mosaic app. None of the tangleations on my 2x2 match the Zenthology, unfortunately. The one on bottom right is the closest, but the initial "tail" doesn't touch the rest of the pattern. It's like string unwinding. Contact me at notperfectzen@gmail.com and I'll answer your questions on any of the unpublished tangles. I'm allowed to make my own version of the step outs but I can't show images from the Zenthology. I love your tiles and would be very happy to help. 🥰

I'm fairly new at this art for, but enjoying it. I have to say I particularly like your style though. Quiet deliberate but casual and fun.
Thank you. I appreciate your comment. I quickly became addicted to it and I love sharing it. 😊❤️
