You are killing me with those curls. I have been natural since 2016 and every other video that I see has half-ass twist out most of them are just curls in the front and tumbleweed in the back. He's probably had his hair lightened using foils and then two different toner colours ... maybe even one and he didn''t completely tone every section of the lightened hair
Hair turned out nice and silky and i love your hoodie
you can get a curly perm apply it on your hair then 3stand twist it . leave the perm in for 30 mins and then wash it out then when you wash ur hair it would already come out the curls you want so you don't have to twist it again I've tried it very helpful😉

Carl Lafleur Have you all never had your hair twisted? There is no chemicals used to curl the hair. The styling gel helps to keep the spiral curl not texturizer or anything chemical like at all.

as far as I know, shampoo doesn't affect the rate of growth of your hair but it can (negatively) alter the condition of your hair

how long would you say you have been growing out your hair, meaning from scratch because your hair was decently long in your 1 year journey video, if you can't give me a straight answer then can you please give me a rough estimate, your hair length is my desired and I just want to know how long I should expect to grow. sorry for late response, your comment had to be approved by me before it became public for some reason. but i've been growing my hair since mid 2013, it was cut 2-3 times within the 4 year time span from then to now. it most definitely could be longer but that wasn't really a goal for me. so I hope that helps

Yo cold bruh I'm trying to get my hair to the best of it's ability. I tried all the products you recommended but a lot of them sits in top of my hair and doesn't full absorb. What do you reccomend I do? I have 4C hair and my hair floats on top of water I forgot if that means I have high or low porosity
You have low porosity hair
BreadKing Jahmal I'm a girl w/ low porosity hair and I had the same problem. My hair was always dry as fuck and no products worked for me. What you need to do is moisturize your hair any time it's feeling dry and make sure you from your ends when they're rough. My routine is protein treatment, then shampoo, then conditioner, then deep condition, then style with leave in conditioner and oil. Sometimes gel too. It takes forever to get to know what your hair needs but a tip is try everything in your price range until you find what works for you
Warm up your moisturizer and make sure the water you put on your hair is warm so it can open the cuticle, if you do it with cold the follicles will just be closed

Does getting highlights damage ur hair or nah....I'm very very ify about dying my hair and thank u for this video....I'ma do it and I'ma use aloe Vera gel cuz bro when I tell u it makes ur hair soft but curly af....not the store bought gel but the gel from the actual plant and it's cost effective and the plants are big af....u should try it when u get the chance

I will try aloe vera gel! & anything pertaining to chemicals will do some damage to the bonds in your hair. I will be making a video going into detail on my experience w color treated hair, but to keep it short for now, if you want highlights, get it PROFESSIONALLY done & don't have the stylist go above 20 volume developer. do protein treatments followed by deep conditioning treatments for 2 weeks & your hair will be just fine.
