Get ready for this amazing pull out Christmas card! This is a 3D pop up card that displays an image or greeting to surprise the recipient. When you make a few of these DIY Christmas cards for family and friends, they will be perplexed over the "how to" for this extraordinary holiday card.
This is one of the best pop up cards that I've seen because it's not intuitive. A pull on the cardstock brings the inside panel forward to reveal a surprise 3D pop up card. Using a few strategically placed pieces of cardstock inside a hidden pocket provides this card surprise. Once you create one, you'll be hooked! Create them for holiday cards, birthday cards, announcements, and invitations. It's a fun fold card design that won't get old.

Love this and thank you for sharing it. I would be inclined to stick the side tabs to the back outside and cover with another piece of card. I would still use an insert too as it looks great. From experience of using big tags for pockets of my mini scrapbooks when they stick a bit, I just rub their sides with the dry type drier tumbler sheets and this makes them slide into and out of the pockets so much easier, so I would apply the same to this project. Got to make some.
