Ok that’s it! I have to get to our land in Michigan. I keep saying I’m make the trip on my sportster. Seeing snd hearing you ride down that road…… thanks man.
I’m glad you enjoyed it and I appreciate you watching. It’s nice living out here. I’ve been in Phoenix for the past few years and I’m so glad to be back home
Zen & the art of motorcycle building! No crap soundtrack and garage "antics". Watching this as I build a 1340 evo in a hallway in London uk, small world eh? Best wishes.
Hi!! This is the sportster 88, from the previous videos? Nice work, really cool sportster (im a big fan of sportsters)!!! These videos are so relaxing!!
Hi Julio. No, this is a 91. I sold the 88 and got this one. This is the first year of the 5 speed transmission as the previous years were 4 speeds. Thank you for watching I really appreciate it. I just filmed an overview of this one today which will be up in the next couple of days.
Yea that whole tube has been that way. Nothing has fallen off yet though so it seems to be working! I may get the gel or stick next. What type do you use?
@@wolfscrape The same. That's so odd. Maybe it had been on the shelf for too long or something. Which is why I asked because I've never seen it do that before. But I'm glad it still held up for you. Hubby and I are working on my sportster as well. Just got it and it needs a bit of TLC before she's ready to go. Love the videos, best of luck to you!

that smile when it first started up is such a universal feeling. when a machine you manifested into reality just works. Euphoric.
I’ve watched this video dozens of times I absolutely love this bike
thank you for sharing....and a BIG thank you for not adding silly music to it! 😎
I really appreciate you watching and commenting. I'm glad you like it. I'll have a riding video posted today.

@@wolfscrape thank s for the reply! Keep this content! Thanks for sharing this cool stuff.
Working on a '77 xlh right now myself. Rebuilding and polishing rhe forks at the moment. Fun to watch someone else fighting the same battles.
I’ve never owned an iron head, maybe one day. How much more you have left to finish it? Glad you like the video. I’ve got some more in the works.
@@wolfscrape check the rear drum brakes, maybe add blinkers back on, and attempt to change the tank decal and re-clear
@@chrishoesing5455 I should probably add blinkers to mine before I take a long trip on it. Good luck with it 👍🏻
Man, you are living the dream. Dream machine, a true work of art Dude, cheers from Australia ! 👍😎
I really appreciate that Adam. I’m happy with how it turned out. I’m getting it ready for a road trip now
Congrats! Sounds like a ripper, those bars look sweet with the narrow tank 🤩
Thanks Sally! Yea I’m happy with it. The bootlegger bars are great. A little more pullback would be nice, but they look good!
I like how you stopped leaning on the big steel wall while watchin the lightning.😜 Nice scoot...
Love the padlock on the front axle
It's a good storage spot. There is no key on this bike so I use it to lock the neck when I'm out.
Very nice build! 👍
thank you, I appreciate it
Great job .motivated too ❤thansk for sharing
Thanks for watching. I enjoy sharing
SP0RTSTERS RULE!!!

I always say I don't ride harleys, I ride sportsters

eye ride an IR0NHEAD!!

Love this build, what size wheels and tires are you running? Are they shinkos?
19 front and 16 rear. I forget the exact tire size and don’t have this bike anymore. Tc bros has them and they’re easy to spot.
Hey man, can you give some info on that rear fender?
It's just a blank fender from tc bros that I cut. It's mounted to the swingarm which allows you to mount it really close to the tire.
Very cool video 🤘
Thanks Kevin, I really appreciate it
I live in south florida. Where can I get a bike like this?
I made the rear frame section. It's a sportster at its core, but you can't just go buy one like it.
That loctite looked awfully watery, did you shake it up? Just wondering. No shade.

Did you cut your front shock springs?
They were cut when I bought it. Not sure how much. It’s actually handled pretty well surprisingly
hmm was expecting a chopper
And?
@@wolfscrape
Well it's not a chopper it's a bobber
