Looks like Koh Samui in 1989. I went there for my honeymoon. Now it's hard to believe it used to be like this
Yes, Koh Rong is still mainly undeveloped. There are a few resorts being built so worth checking out before it becomes commercialised 👍

Touring Cambodia in November, then resting up on Koh Rong for a couple of weeks before returning home.

US dollars are widely accepted. Generally you will get the change in Cambodian currency.

Yes the village we stayed in is the liveliest on the island. Maybe the backpackers resorts can be lively as well 😀
