@galoramones4492...It's not orchid but a specie of fern. It's locally called kabkab or bird's nest fern in English. All ferns species don't bear flowers but spores as their mode of reproduction. Spores of many ferns can be found under their leaves or even in stems of the leaves and sometimes in roots. Some ferns are ancient plant species older than dinosaurs.

Nice to see you enjoying the country side. I missed the country. I was born there but leave in the US. Now I am retired, maybe about time to go back in a quiet place in the barrio with a simple living. Thank you for sharing.
The plant on 20:11 timeline is locally called 'gabi' or taro in English. The sap of its leaves and corms (enlarged roots harvested as vegetable) can irritate your skin depending on your allergic reaction. The corms are commonly sold in the market and supermarket and is mainly used as ingredients for binignit (Cebuano sweetened delicacy as snacks) but also used in few other meat and vegetable dishes such as sinigang na baboy.
That plant at timeline starting 20:00 is a type of palm tree. Its fronds are covered with tiny soft spines that when they brush on your skin, it will cause rashes and itchiness. Its woody trunk when mature can be used as timber similar to coconut tree.
Good to know there's a pre-historic gas station :), only in Ph. There used to be lots of root crops, local & from the Manila Galleon trade but is disappearing - boil or make fries out of them like yuka etc.
Visit Iloilo City, Roxas City, Kalibo in Aklan, Antique these places are in the island of Panay. In the heart of the Philippines. Then you can ride in a motor boat to Guimaras Island go there when they harvest mangoes in the month of May.
I have never seen you exploring south of Cebu when there are more places high up in the mountains to explore. But you have already crossed over to Negros island but not south of Cebu. You can explore the south of Cebu where there are higher mountain passes that allow you to view the oceans and the clouds and lush forests, farm villages, waterfalls, hiking trails, etc.
Angel's trumpet is a very poisonous plant, causing intense hallucinations, seizures, and even death in the most severe cases. This plant can also cause poisoning through various routes. You can get poisoned by touching, inhaling, or eating almost any part of an angel's trumpet.
