I will be… but what knowledge would I have if I didn’t actually go and visit farms and ranches?

I have to say when you do a project you jump in with both feet. When doing this type of project having help is huge to keeping moral high. It is even better when it is your wife. Things must have went well with this project since your both still speaking to each other. Keep up the wonderful work.

I own that exact camper... ran the wheels off it before I just parked it in the back 40... this makes we want to go drag it home... no idea you could completely rebuild the thing from the ground up. :) My family was about where yours is now when be bought it used... we are now 60, and kids are all grown. But God knows we had lots of good times dragging that thing across America.

    Totally committed:
Right now I have the plywood decking torn off of a 35ft. Rv.
Mitigating mold and Fungus that grew on the interior ceiling panels.
While I'm at it, I'm squaring off the back roofline in order to get more cabinet space.

You got more time than me boss. Maybe before kids. I did do that to a boat and it took months. New stringers, bulkheads, floor and fiberglass... it's a lot of work.
It's cool that you are committed. Looking great 👍

Grizzly Bear country in a soft side camper, not in Yellowstone anyway. Cud-dos Buddy, easier than building one from scratch, and more economical if you ain't got much scratch. Like everyone watching I would have done some things differently but we all have differing levels of experience with materials and durability thereof. Had a Coleman tent camper for 25 years and sold it this spring, lots of family times dragging it around the country, camped in West Yellowstone since they did not allow soft side campers in the park. They tow easily, don't cost much, provide a place to live on the road for peanuts compared to the alternatives and make great memories for the family. With the prices of new or even used campers this year, if you could find one, going cheap is the ticket and will serve the purpose IMHO.

Beats me why anyone would put cheap plastic or wood in a camper. Water proof the wood, too. The floor might be best layered. Sheet metal. Then ur wood. Hardboard. I aint no camper fixer. Just an armchair fussbudget. U fix it good once, then u store it out the weather. And toss mothballs in there when u ain't using it. If u forever fixing, u don't need one. Pitch a tent. 🤪 oh, and if it's a tent, keep it dry. If it gets wet, dry out before u store. Knew some dummies wondered why their tent rotted. Duh.

It's off and wasn't going in because he used thicker wall boards on each side then what was there last time and y'all are trying to fit something in the same size as what he took out when he's added more thickness to the wall boards on each side. Hey sander would have fixed this problem if y'all would have sanded each side about an eighth to 1/4 of an inch then it would have fit in there no problem but you have to take away from that white piece that you're putting in because he added more width to the inside on each of the wall boards
