Some people need to remember: an artist might be their favorite singer, performer, band, etc. But not everybody is going to love the same things you do. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, even if you disagree with it. You don't have to like the opinion, just be respectful is all. Personally I like Dan Vasc. He's a phenomenal singer. He is very passionate about what he does and he puts everything he can into his performance. And that's my opinion.

When Dan played the harmonica, he played the semetones, everything thing he does is deliberate. Playing the semetones gives that haunting sound.

The harmonica was a gift from his father when he was a child. It's special to Dan. He plays it in Loch Lomond also where he shows he's a folk singer also.

Ok, so, Traditionally, Amazing Grace, is played on Bagpipes, at Funerals, a very Sad state of Affairs.. Dan Made his Harmonica Sound like Bagpipes, the off note, when the pipe player takes a Breath , is Unmistakable, makes me Cry Everytime! Dan does Nothing by Accident, Perfection is his Only Goal!

Thank you for covering Dan Vasc’s powerful performance of Amazing Grace. This song holds a very special meaning for many people. DV is also a person of deep faith. He poured every ounce of his heart & soul into this song. I thoroughly enjoyed your reaction! I was less enthused with your guest’s attentiveness (or lack of) to the video. I think he would’ve enjoyed it more if he had been less concerned with whatever was behind him.
Dan Vasc is about to hit his dream of getting one million subscribers on his channel. Thank you again Ace! Loved it!!🤗

So, on the harmonica part, there were a couple of parts that he changed, intentionally. It's called an arrangement. His pitch throughout was spot on. He didn't miss a note. His range is around 5 octaves and one song, "Black Wind Fire and Steel" he holds the last scream, full power, for a full 31 seconds. He's absolutely phenomenal and IMO the best vocalist out there. as well as the most versatile. He can sing clear as a bell, he can sing opera and Broadway style, he can scream and growl. I think the only thing I haven't heard him do is yodel. He sings Journey or Iron Maiden. Something for everyone.

The way Dan guides us through this song of faith is outstandingly brilliant.
An analogy to consider: the intimidation, fear, anticipation, worry, that runs through our veins as we realize that in order to use the rope swing, we first have to grab it. Then comes the big swing out over the water hole & yes, OMG, have to let go of the rope to fully jump in, or we'll crash against the cliff. Oh the emotional experience! And then, just like that, it becomes old hat. (Minus here & there).
That leap of faith experience will never ever leave.
Dan captured that leap, that journey, outstandingly beautifully.

    • @AceofBadeReacts

For me when Dan sings the song as if he is John Newton on that slave ship. Starts out with calm waters, then the wind starts to pick up, then we are in a full blown storm and they think all is lost and they will die but they don't. John Newton gave up being a captain on a slave ship after that storm, became a minister and an abolitionist. He saw God's Grace

My favorite version of Amazing Grace. In reference to him having some Iron Maiden vocal similarities, Dan actually does do some Iron Maiden covers. The Trooper is one (Victor the Guitar Nerd on instrumentals). Last Halloween, he also dropped his version of The Number of the Beast...and nails it both vocally and theatrically. It's unbelievable that he did all that in his garage, but it's Dan.

I'm gonna burry you under rocks.😂😂😂. Na bro, no worries, if something isn't your cuppa tea, that is your choice, the world would be so boring if everyone loved the same thing, would actually like to hear what, why, where and when, so that we can have more insight, as to what Pat like, a conversation can actually bring ppl nearer to each other and a better understanding of each other. It is like me with Tommy Johansen, o good singer, but there is something that makes me feel, as if he tries too hard, then I can listen to Kris Kristofferson, who is near to false, and love his singing again. I had a quick visit to your channel, Pat. It most likely is not one that will interest me. I'll spend more time there and see. In the meantime, here's a song by Dan that you may enjoy as you appear to be a gamer. (I've taken out the www part because that seems to throw the whole comment out). ...ua-cam.com/video/_Ko0KbgedIA/v-deo.html. My gaming starts and stops at Baldur's Gate, so I only follow one gaming channel, that of my son and daughter-in-law. They've been gamers for years. :p. Anyway, I understand when people do not enjoy every song or artist. Metal was one of my most hated genres (with some others which I still can't stand) until I discovered the Dan phenomenon.
