Wonderful! One of the best songs of Straight Up album ! Here in Brazil was the B side of Baby Blue single ! I remember this album like the most special Christmas gift of my life ! It´s my main influence since 1972 ! Muniz ( bass )
my hubby of 30 years when i first saw him from across the room and saw this face for he look's the picture of this man singing and i fell in love in a few months and have been here for 30 years the difficulties have been many many many though peace out angel
Badfinger appears on the program "Nashville Now" on June 24, 1988. The host was the absolute worst interviewer of all time, Ralph Emery. Joey Molland performed an electric version of "Sweet Tuesday Morning" from the album "Straight Up". Accompanying Joey on guitar is Randy Anderson (You can see bassist Mark Healey lurking in the background)
My mind is thinking of Pete, but Joey is the last. The harmony is great. I get so mad about Todd Rundgren, today. Who else died today, no other than Johnny Thunders. Badfinger, was a great band that should not be forgotten.
I´m sorry. I beg your pardon for my mistake ! Here in Brazil it was the B-side of " Day after Day " too. The B-side of Baby Blue was "I´d die, Babe " curiously named "Flying" (the single was wrong ). I have other version of single "Day after day'" (#1841), where B-side is "Money". Another curious fact is: in april of 2006 Badfinger played here and at the tickets the name printed was "Dead Finger",(another mistake for collection) !
HAIL! Fredonia Records, a student run record label at Fredonia University, have created their rendition of the classic Badfinger hit, “Sweet Tuesday Morning.” Ladies First members Savannah King and Mary Ramsey (vocalist of 10,000 Maniacs) join forces with Joey Molland of Badfinger for this unique collaboration. This special rendition by Ladies First featuring Joey Molland will be available exclusively through iTunes in the beginning of spring 2015.
Whay are any people blaming Todd Rundgren for anyones death-Tom Evans & Pete Ham commited suicide due to money problems brought on by Stan Polly-Todd walked out on the ASS sessions for a reason-Apple would not advance him the recording money..And Johnny Thunders?!-He was murdered anyhow
don't know about WYWHere out-takes, but the DEMO'S of HEAD FIRST the never finished follow up to WYWHere is a good alternative. Finally released as an album by Ryko. Warning however, it's still demos.
I don't like Joey's delivery on this performance...he purposely is coming in late on many of the vocal lines, a little gimmick that singers do that is a pet peeve of mine. If he would just deliver the lines on time, it would sound so much better (despite his voice being a little ragged).
Joey had been through so much at this point. Love your music Joey.

Ralph Emery - yikes! what a trainwreck! One of the WORST interviews in the history of television.Through it all though, Joey did a great job. :)

what on God's green Earth were Badfinger doing on Nashville Now?! they were about as country as Liberace was jazz! the talent booker should be fired!
LMFAO
