Stayed there 2019 great site good meal at black bull and at bar on tother side of road. Would recommend
I agree site is lovely, we have been twice, first time we took granddaughters in 2019, went to pub a bit further on other side of road as suggested by warden, may be is but food was not as good as the Black Bull on this trip 2020

Great vlog as usual.
We have booked Overbrook Tranquil site in Pickering. Didn't know about this site, could you tell us if you found out if you can put the grey waste in the hedge? As getting the water not a problem as is emptying the toilet, but the grey waste could be a bit of a chore.

Hi Peter, I'm not sure regarding Grey waste into the hedgerows, all I can say is I saw lots of people with waste water going to the top of the site, there are numerous fresh water points but there isn't CPD waste & one grey waste / MH service point near the entrance, hope this helps 👍

Thank you for your fast reply. Think we will stay with the Tranquil site as it's only about 4 miles from Pickering. There is a lovely village only about 1/2 a mile away, few nice pubs. Might be something to interest yourselves, village is called Thornton-le-dale.

@@delphjunction1168 Hi Peter yes I have seen that site, we had a couple of nights in credit for this site & we tied it in with the steam train ride to Whitby, it was only £5 for taxi from site to Train station & same back to the site, I must admit the Black Bull pub at the entrance served up some marvellous food & beer was good as well

Nice to have independent views on different places. Black Ball sounds nice like finding good pubs, hope they have all servived in these horrible times ay.

What made you change from Motorhome to a caravan, most people go the other way.
