It's probably from Skatteverket. And SCB tracks quite a bit. Sure, there will be people illegally trafficked into Sweden too who aren't in the stats. Plus those without papers hiding from deportation.
The Swedish government keeps excellent statistics on country of birth, which is public information... even though the info in the video is slightly incorrect but it's pretty accurate.

@@skitidet4302 ah, I see. I'm afraid Stats Media isn't a very reliable source of information. 2,9 million gets more realistic if you count 2nd generation immigrants.
But keep in mind that this number fluctuates depending on mortality, nativity and emigration rates amongst migrants. These numbers will likely decrease with time.

How come the number of Syrians and Iraqis is going down? Are they going back home or something?
Concider that, it was refugees before the 2015 imigrants boom also and they're seniors and older now.
In Swedish emigration statistics Syrians and Iraqis are among the top emigrant groups (after Swedes and Indians). Probably in part due to a calmer situation in Syria and Iraq which is making more people to move back voluntarily - while new Iraqi and Syrian immigrants are at all time lows.
Another reason could also be that more Iraqis and Syrians have residency permits based on previous asylum status that are re-reviewed and deemed no longer valid due to a safer situation back home.
As Syrian I would tell you a little secret : most Syrians who didn't established their own business they would go back to Syria if a political solution took place.. The secret is : having a good passport is a Garantee for a safe future.. If something happens again after that in Syria they can escape the country again

My grandfather has blue eyes and my brother has blue eyes and blonde hair. I know I don't look like it. Turkish-Hungarian-Italian genes are more dominant for me 😅.

Finns immigrated largely in the 1960's for work. If they were 20 then, in 2010 they were 70. Maybe some returned at retirement but there's a more usual way of leaving when you get old.

You can be calm, only about 3-5% (stats differ and there is no official census) of the population are practicing muslims, while about 8-10% are from Muslim majority countries originally (this however includes christians, secular/atheist people and other faiths from countries like Lebanon, Albania, Syria etc)
