For the Marvel intro it wasn't always like that! That was probably redone after his death. The fact that he was so charasmatic and strong.. even while suffering from stage 3 cancer here :( I just can't imagine how much he went through to make this character one of the most cool, smooth and strong characters in the MCU.
Fun fact: the younger version of T'Chaka (T'Challa's father) is played by Atandwa Kani, the son of John Kani, who plays him as an older man. Meanwhile, the younger version of Zuri (Forest Whitaker's character) is played by an actor named Denzel Whitaker, but they are unrelated.
Was literally about to write your first half, but checked and saw this. I know the older was/is a stage actor, and the eye injury was some kind of attack, or protest he was in.
There something about hero’s getting shot at and not reacting at all is just so funny 😂. I don’t even know what characters to highlight because they were all so good!
Nominated for 6 Oscars including Best Picture but won for: Best Original Score Best Costume Design Best Production Design. RIP Chadwick Boseman. Wakanda Forever.
The opening Marvel fanfare was changed when Chadwick Boseman died, I believe. I remember being hyped for this movie. Especially after seeing the first teaser 💜
7:57 Kaiielle, I was an extra in this movie as well as a few other Marvel movies. The shot on the cliffs. We were in a big parking lot and standing on stantions hooked to cables. The cliffs were CGI'd in. The boats were in a parking lot and the water is CGI. There was a humongous blue screen behind us.
I'm so glad you put up both parts of this reaction already. I understand completely when reactors put up two parts of a reaction on subsequent weeks, but then I feel bad because I don't watch them until I can watch both parts together, and given UA-cam's fickleness, I'm sure that messes up the algorithm somehow and affects the channel in a negative way. I appreciate that I can jump to the second half right now. And off I go! ✌🤓
15:00 I was stationed at Osan Air Base 1986- 1987. Seoul is a beautiful city. I also was an extra in this movie filmed in Atlanta, Ga. I met Chadwick first on the set of '42' The Jackie Robinson story.
Michael B Jordan barely had a social life during his training for the role of Erik Killmonger. He spent a majority of that time eating food, drinking lots of water, and exercising.
Everybody raves over Chadwick's performance. But Jordan did an excellent job as well! If you'll pardon the pun, he killed it! One of the best villains in the MCU.
The Black Panther Marvel intro was not in the theatrical or Blu Ray release. It originated (**this is not a spoiler**) in the sequel and caused audible sobbing in the theater I was in (some of it from me, lol). I'm kind of annoyed that D+ added it to the original because I think that takes away from the impact it has in the sequel.... but I also get WHY they did it, at least temporarily.
This is a Hobbit film reunion. Martin Freeman was Bilbo Baggins and Andy Serkis was the voice of Gollum. Since there were so many black actors in this film, they called themselves the "Tolkien White Boys" on set.
18:40 .....I'd like to take this opportunity to remember everyone that Wakanda was in favour of the Sokovia's agreements to don't let upgraded humans to intervene in a foreign country without the say so from a committee...... And yes, I do remember that T'Challa ended up helping Cap and Bucky by the end of Civil War, but that was in secret, so technically, Wakanda is still in favour of those agreements..... So long for moral convictions, right?......
I hate to be that guy but I'm just gonna say it: This movie is good but it gets so much more praise because of Chadwicks passing. Its definitely not like Thor 2 bad but its definitely isnt Winter Soldier level good either. Go ahead and attack me lol but that's just how I feel. If you're doing a 2 part for this movie then please do it for Infinity War.
To me, like it's carried by having one of the better villains in the MCU up until this point and Chadwick's smooth and passionate performance. It's themes also carry it a bit, but overall there are better MCU movies for sure. But yeah the villain, Chadwick and the themes are all really good and strong. There are some things that are a bit off like the special effects at times, but it's still a like A tier movie IMO. Nothing specifically wrong and a lot of good things going for it
@@CrazeeAdam I can agree with that, it's just that some ppl make it out to be a God tier level movie and to me it just wasn't. BUT yes, it's not a bad movie by any means.
@@salvadortinajero mmhmm. Like I said, it's carried by a few things. Before Killmonger there was only like one other true "villain" that was on his level IMO and that was Zemo. Like there had been some good ones, and some good like, semi villains in Bucky and Loki. But yeah, that's a big reason because we actually had a compelling villain who had a point compared to just like stoic bad guys, or ones that really didn't leave an impression. But yeah it's not god tier by any means, but it like a solid A, kind of on the same level of like Guardians or Spiderman Homecoming at this point for me. (without knowing what would come next after this movie)
@@CrazeeAdam idk I wasn't too impressed with the villain honestly. I'd say he was on par with maybe Ego from guardians 2. Definitely not as good as Loki or Ultron or Hela.
Thanks for having the balls to say (write), what many Marvel fans think about this movie, which is good, but compared to some Marvel masterpieces a bit too stylish and clean!
So amongst a diverse cast of PoC actors we have Andy Serkis and Martin Freeman, who were both in The Hobbit. I suppose you could call them the Tolkien white guys
Quick question: don't you think it would be a good idea to turn the captions off? Like at least for me sometimes it kinda spoils some important lines or new character introductions or things like that you know? Youre probably not bothered with it but its something i feel when i watch movies with captions
Sadly the film got embraced by Afrocentrist political ideology making a big stinky controversy, as politics tends to do, that overshadows the messages the film really had which I think are very worthy of conversation.
Like him saying "didn't all life start on this continent?" Welp. This happens with any race that the movie could be primarily about. Same with wakanda forever and the Aztec thing. Seen some Asian movies that does the same.
That's literally what the film is about. Making a black African superhero but simultaneously drawing attention to the issues the continent faced and still continues to face. Like colonization, thievery of resources, bad leadership and the over involvement of the west in African issues. But I'm not surprised y'all took it that way. Y'all will do anything but acknowledge what's actually being said.
I just can't with the BP movies. All I see is a bunch of royals being sanctimonious about things that never affected them specifically and acting like their trivial problems are the world's number one priority. It's like watching a celebrity living in luxury talk about how everyone is in the same boat during covid. With the exception of Killmonger and the Jabari tribe, I find them all thoroughly unsympathetic.
Why do women always love men's eyelashes? That's really considered attractive to them? What's more attractive to women- a man's long eyelashes or forearm veins?

Chadwick was so great as Black Panther. He will def be missed. This and Wakanda Forever were epic films.
the intro was indeed changed after his passing. it had everyone in the cast in it, as all Marvel movies do.
There something about hero’s getting shot at and not reacting at all is just so funny 😂. I don’t even know what characters to highlight because they were all so good!

I love the hair doooo's!!! And the reactions, thank you
😊😊😊
OH! You got me Kaielle! 😄When I clicked on it I was wondering why the video was so short, then I was getting into it. Then it ended!😭
Sorry! Had to put it in two parts because of copyright issues.

I'm unsure if you've seen any Walking Dead before, but the actress who plays Okoye was a primairy character in The Walking Dead TV series :)
Haven't seen it!
What was a nice touch to me was the fact that they got Forest Whittaker's son to play the younger version of himself.
Glad you got these uploaded finally!!

African man in front of African showcase.
“You gonna be stealing stuff”.
me too sis.
Thank you!
Chadwick will be miss
First time catching one of your premiers!
Thanks for hanging!
I see that haircut. Did you do it on purpose to match Shuri? Also maybe Ross shouldn't keep guys with prosthetic left arms in custody.

(Btw, u look great. Never doubt.🖖)
