Wir, mein Altgeselle und meine Wenigkeit hatten dort als Maler einen Wasserschaden an der Wand auszubessern. 😮 Also alles auf dass Gerüst was dort innen an der Wand stand und hoch auf 6 Meter Höhe. Da schon die Akustik im Kirchenschiff ❤❤ 😮 und dann diese voluminöse Musik❤❤❤❤😊 ich war so überwältigt dass vor (Glück?) geweint habe.😢 manchmal geht es mir heute noch so.

Beyond that there's no record of what Bach wrote this for (E.g. For playing between masses). If we're talking very technically, it's not known 100% that Bach definitely did write it (though I think the understanding that he most likely did). It is probable (according to some scholars, and I agree) that it wasn't even originally written for organ, but for violin. On this view, it was only later slightly rearranged for organ by someone else.

I would only learn how to play the organ so I could play this on a really old one with exaggerated expressions with my hands when people come to my house and if they walk into the room I'm playing it in I would just say "Ahh I've been expecting you"

My mother had the (seemingly) entire K catalog on vinyl and would listen daily. My first intro to musical Mashup was the Hookd on Classics tapes. My music teacher thought I was a child prodigy when she would play a piece of a symphony and I would finish it by humming the rest. My firm grounding in classical AND folk open an incredible world to me. It gave me the ability to appreciate a widely varying range of musical endeavor. From Dr Dre to Daft Punk, Alabama to Iron Maiden, Bob Dylan to Chris Stapleton, Deep Forrest to Jan Garbarek, and the ever mellow Strunz and Farrah... anyone who says that music and fictional literature aren't necessary to human existence are sub human at best...

Then comes the rain, and water pouring down, off leaves, dewdrops forming on flowers and trickling down to join the rivulets that then become rivers - then the fantastic joy and freedom of the waterfalls and the spray crashing up. Well, that's what I think. Pretty video, but it's the wrong one.
