Looks good! Thanks for posting. I wondered for a moment where you could've possibly shot that from, cause I recognized the area. So I was like "water tower? too short... power lines? too short" until I realized it was stabilized drone footage with audio from elsewhere haha. Too bad the camera loses some shadow detail, but looks great otherwise!
There was more shadow detail, but I turned up the contrast to make the sunrise look better... The audio was recorded at the same time as the video from the ground, the drone is high enough that you can't hear it. Thanks for watching!
@@NathanaelNewton Ohh that makes sense! Do you use Resolve to edit these? If so, sometimes you can get good results with a mixture of shadow tweaking plus a filter called "pop filter" which can increase local contrast in artistically pleasant ways haha. Thanks again!
@oriole8789 yea I use resolve studio for editing and color grading. I turned the contrast all the way down in camera to try to get a log style so the sun was not over exposed
@@NathanaelNewton Sounds like you've got most things figured out, awesome. In Resolve, the "parade" charts can be quite helpful as well to see how various detail in your video is distributed. Helps with balancing out the image~ colour grading is definitely as much an art as science haha. btw I found your channel due to your radiation related stuff. I've built an interesting alpha/beta/gamma probe that I want to try using to hunt in some of the spots you've featured haha. :D So thanks for making those vids as well!
