Perhaps, we can change how we process things people say, because I too can take things too heart. What if we think of people’s nastiness as an exercise in working through our sensitivity, instead of allowing those words to cause us pain. We have anxiety because we are afraid and or believe we aren’t “good enough”. But, even in our imperfect humanness, we strive, we grow, we flourish, we create, and we encourage. All of theses things sound very good to me. Much more so than another person’s insensitive words. Individuals who criticize in a forum like this, do so with intention. These people have choices- no longer watch content they don’t enjoy, wait for the next video, or keep silent. I’m sorry your feelings were hurt. I’m sorry about you Dad. All though I can’t change the situation your dear Father is in. I can give you something to replace the negative comments. You create, you inspire, and you encourage other people. You have more fans, than critics. Personally, you inspired me to begin collaging and glue books. It’s a wonderful creative therapeutic activity. You always make me laugh, w/ your snark and ability to not take yourself too seriously. I appreciate you very much. Ruminate on this note, my friend. Thank you Connie! Image hoarding....that is a serious problem for 99% of us lol! Myself included! I'll tell you something that I realized and helps me not do that so much anymore.... I remind myself that 1) The image would actually be safer glued into my gluebook. It could so easily get lost, torn, wrinkled, forgotten about, etc..but in my book, it's on display! 2) As awesome as that image is that you are hoarding because it's too perfect, too cool, you couldn't possibly use it yet...there will always be an equally as cool image out there just waiting for you to find. 3) Do that fabulous image justice and glue it down! I hope that helps, changing my mindset that it's safer in my book, has helped me tremendously❤
Keep in mind people post nasty comments for two reasons. 1. They are jealous. 2. They have low self-esteem and they need to bring others down to make themselves feel better Both things are their problem and not yours. ...and yes caramel pears sound wonderful.

I'm the same way with what I may perceive as someone being rude...I'm teaching myself to ' Kill Them With Kindness' Honestly, I believe it works well!! I have anxiety issues also..and suffer from CPTSD ( Childhood type)...I fortunately I have a generally good disposition until someone starts acting like a dork..Sometimes though, you just gotta stand up to them and take no prisoners so to speak. Especially when it comes to someone being bullied...not nice! I understand how you would feel though. Wait, who said something mean and nasty?! Lemme at ‘em. I have a hard time when it’s directed at me, too, but come for someone I care about…it’s over. Somewhere inside I’m of me I find the big, strong protector I can’t muster for myself. I am doing a lot better as I get older about advocating for myself in the same way but, until I master that, I will flex those muscles for my friends and family.

Thank you Connie! Image hoarding....that is a serious problem for 99% of us lol! Myself included! I'll tell you something that I realized and helps me not do that so much anymore....
I remind myself that 1) The image would actually be safer glued into my gluebook. It could so easily get lost, torn, wrinkled, forgotten about, etc..but in my book, it's on display! 2) As awesome as that image is that you are hoarding because it's too perfect, too cool, you couldn't possibly use it yet...there will always be an equally as cool image out there just waiting for you to find. 3) Do that fabulous image justice and glue it down! I hope that helps, changing my mindset that it's safer in my book, has helped me tremendously❤
Keep in mind people post nasty comments for two reasons. 1. They are jealous. 2. They have low self-esteem and they need to bring others down to make themselves feel better Both things are their problem and not yours. ...and yes caramel pears sound wonderful.

I have anxiety issues also..and suffer from CPTSD ( Childhood type)...I fortunately I have a generally good disposition until someone starts acting like a dork..Sometimes though, you just gotta stand up to them and take no prisoners so to speak. Especially when it comes to someone being bullied...not nice!

Wait, who said something mean and nasty?! Lemme at ‘em. I have a hard time when it’s directed at me, too, but come for someone I care about…it’s over. Somewhere inside I’m of me I find the big, strong protector I can’t muster for myself. I am doing a lot better as I get older about advocating for myself in the same way but, until I master that, I will flex those muscles for my friends and family.
