I paid my wife’s student loans and her credit dropped from 815 to 771. She was so worried lol it took 3 months to get back over 800 again. So it’s not a big deal. Debt free is the way to be, I agree!

My score dropped 40 points this morning from 740 to 700! i think because of age of credit, im older but newer to credit, i was always a cash dude, anyway just got 2 new credit cards that hit my report and blammo. its all good though! The good thing is it will come back stronger its like hitting the weights, you get beat up and sore feeling but it makes you stronger in the end. Thanks for the uplifting video

Thank you… I made a huge early payment that took a HUGE chunk Out of my cc debt and it Dropped My score 15 points… The thought of knocking out that debt early made me feel like I was being responsible… fico seems to see credit score as how you manage a balance…. I always make payments that won’t result in interest and my credit score dropped because of it… i’m a person that is rebuilding a once perfect credit score and I’ve done well but I can’t help but feel slapped in the face for Lowering my overall credit card debt

Ya I paid off 2 car loans, bought a house, & opened 2 new credit cards. My score dropped about 25pts, but i aint worried because it’ll bounce back in a mth or 2

Just had this happen to me. I paid off two cards in full and am down to one card with a balance. My score dropped about 27 points.

U just explain score drop because of paying something off….. what about it dropping for no reason at all??
Thoroughly look over your credit report. Sometimes it does drop unexpectedly. It happened to me multiple times. But the likelihood of it dropping because of something on your credit report is usually higher than it dropping for no reason. Thanks for watching, Robert.

How do I get into the ecosystem of American Express? Match on every card site but never a pre approval from their site.
It all depends on numerous things. Your Credit Score, credit report, etc, I started with one of their no annual fee cards years ago, but its always case by case per individual.

I had a collection and a inquiry removed from my report and no other changes were made and my credit score dropped. There were only positive changes to my credit report and there was no payments being made on an collection account it was just being reported as a collection so I don’t understand why my credit score dropped 8 points. I’m trying to rectify my credit and this is frustrating me, somebody help or explain this to me please.

I’m going through the same thing man , except mine dropped 51 , gonna wait a few days & if anything gonna reach out to Experian
