I hear you. I have a purely mechanical hand crank drill. If I am putting in decking boards or fence rails, I sometimes put a drill bit on the hand crank drill and screwdriving head on my electric drill. Not having to change bits every time gives me an excuse to use the hand crank drill just for fun.
I love it! I'm a mechanical engineer by trade, so I have a strong partiality to purely mechanical devices. It would also be very entertaining to incorporate a "weight battery" into such a device. A hand crank is MUCH more practical, but some experiments are just fun, and good for exercising the engineering brain.
Smoothies can be frozen for use when needed. Veggie smoothies are a good way for people who cant chew enough, and you can put it in soups and sauces for picky eaters.
Don't forget to add the musical hurdy-gurdy as you make the smoothies. And if you can get a monkey with a hat to collect the customers money. Brilliant mate. Bob's your uncle.
I've just remembered that I have seen this in Holland, many,many years ago!! Before people realize that the poor Monkey is being abused !!😮 However this is an example of how people can make things easier for themselves and others by simplifying and of course without the Monkeys!!😅❤ Happy New Year to You and Yours!!🎉

Need to put that on a silicon mat to keep it from slipping! What really needs to be peddle powered is an off grid laundry. There's only so much you can do with those plungers 😢

Rather than connecting the drive directly to the blender, maybe, connect it to a drill chuck. That way you could use it for different things. One minute a blender, next a generator or battery charger. Even a fan or, (with gear reduction) a water pump. If you could make a version that what lighter and smaller, It might become something to take camping?

If I don't have a Blender at this point I could even Make it...but wit the Practical Hand-making skill I have , Better if I start thinking Seriously about Hanging Myself to a Pole... [Someone now have to telling me what happens when you mix Ashes to Graphene in the Blender with Glicerine and Protein before Tomorrow... because I am Gonna make that... Calcite apparently have 200w/km which is impressive considering it is calcium... No no I am doing it Mate... ]
Disappointed it didn't go splatter all over the shop 😂 Actually I've always wondered about a bicycle connected to a washing machine - giving a new take on the Spin Cycle. All these gym bunnies pay to workout & make sweaty clothes. Why not clean your clothes at the same time as working out?

Years ago in California, some smoothie vendors were utilizing bicycle chain systems hooked to blenders. blessings

Great for off grid cabins etc. Sort of like a manual Kitchenaid. You can make all sorts of attachments for it. Wonderful stuff.
