@@ABC-yj6cy On the other hand, your current investments (E2S1 FF and Acheron) can/will brute-force everything for the foreseeable future, so unlike newer or more widely-invested players, you can pull redundant DPS or otherwise random stuff just because you think it's neat/waifu/etc. without any worry that it's going to limit your account performance. Obviously it's fine to continue going all in on FF/Acheron tweaks/refinements just because you enjoy that, though.

Now im just missing Aventurine to get the last piece for the team. Then im just getting one EIdolon after another for this team to make it incredibly strong. In Genshin im investing vertical cuz it holds the game fresh, but i think in HSR i try once going horizontal. (Sure Topaz would be better but i really like Moze and with Eidolons at Fei/Robin/Aventurine... i think i dont care then :D)

I can get 8 attacks out of topaz pretty consistently with Ratio Aven and Robin, and sometimes even 9, so Feixiao and Topaz actually has a higher ceiling when it comes to attack counts than what's even shown here considering in the same amount of turns FX will also tack on 4-6 more FUAs which means 2-3 more attacks from Numby

Ratio's lightcone being second best gives me assurance that I don't need to pull for Feixiao's lightcone since i got Ratio's lightcone to S2, i now have a chance to pull for Robin, hopefully.
even if you did not have it, Robin is a way bigger increase in damage for her than her own lightcone - leaving this here for other people reading comments

I'm at a point in my account that I can now start pulling for fun. Acheron and Firefly easily max MoC and PF for me and all other content, so even if I might not have the most perfect team for her, she'll be a fun character to play regardless.
Am I crazy, or is the gimmick of her ult completely unnecessary? Always use one weapon when enemy is broken, and always use the other when they're not broken. Is there any scenario you'd use the opposite weapon? Also if the damage bonus is the same on both weapons, why isn't it just a 30% universal damage bonus on the ult and make it one weapon?
Kinda similar to Acheron being able to choose who to target during her ult. It will most likely rarely ever come up, but sometimes you may want to delay a phase change to heal your team before a nuke and stuff

I'd say the team should be named FRAT, considering you don't want Aventurine next to Feixiao since she doesn't get energy from being hit by blast attacks that target him.

Got her pretty easily, ironically enough she works super well with CLARA of all characters, every single counter keeps that ult going, and that lack of hunt aggro is on full display here. I've been using her with Fu Xuan and Sparkle, beefing up crit rate and damage to the roof so I can focus on more attack at base to avoid another round of endless artifact farming just yet.

I always appreciate how Guoba is one of the few CCs who put up actual thresholds/numbers that you want to hit for stats. A lot easier to see if my build is good rather than just saying, "Oh she wants some crit rate."

Feixiao/Topaz/Ratio/Gallagher is my team of choice starting out. I want to enact those scenes from movies where the kid in a classroom gets EVERYTHING thrown at them for some reason. and if I ever get Aventurine to take over the sustain spot i'll still have the funny team acronym too while throwing even more random things at the unfortunate target of the bullying
Feixiao is in a weird place where she's obviously very powerful, but most players already have Dr. Ratio due to him being given away, and he's also very good in the same team compositions as Feixiao. If you're already clearing MoC 12 and AS 4 with Ratio, then the incentive to pull Feixiao just to replace him in his best team seems pretty low. At first I thought I was going to pull her day 1, but now I think I'm waiting for 2.7 or 3.0.
issue she is hunt, you want Topaz with to really pop off, i laugh people trying compare her to acheron, ummm no Acheron isn't as restrictive as Feix, plus Acheron nukes all targets not just one. Personally FUA id rather still run Ratio, Aventurine, Topaz, Robin instead, plus these units aren't restrictive you can use them in other comps especially aventurine and robin, Topaz and Ratio can work outside of FUA, they can be in hyper carry or double Dps set ups as well, they can be used MOC, Pure Fiction and newest one.
@@kyotheman69 yeah no i don't think anything you just said is true. feixiao is very flexible. she just wants characters who attack with high frequency, and she'll be good. this video even showed us four viable sub-dps characters to team her with, and topaz isn't even always the best in all content.
@@kyotheman69Fei isn't restrictive, in fact she is the most flexible Hunt unit as of now, there's even a showcase of her 0 cycle MOC with just robin and aven. She only needs another fast attacking unit, and the very f2p option is M7th who synergizes perfectly with her. And who knows what other FUA unit may be released in the future, but they will almost definitely work well with Fei too And for anyone who says she needs Robin, well that goes the same as to how Firefly also needs Ruan Mei so she can perform to her max potential. Acheron too has her own premium team (DOTcheron, jiaoqiu, those 5* nihility options). HSR is already at its phase where each playstyle archetypes has their own BIS harmony (RM/HMC for break, Sparkle for SP hungry units, Robin for FUA) Ratio needs debuff to guarantee his FUA, while Fei only needs team mate's atk. That alone differentiates her playstyle, as she has consistent FUA and straightforward gameplay Acheron's playstyle is backloaded, and some ppl don't like that (me for example) no matter how much of a nuke her ult is. At the end of the day what matters to some players isnt only dmg but their enjoyment, duh. If one finds Feixiao's playstyle to be very fun then ofc they'll like her more than ratio or acheron
@@konga382 If by viable you mean 20+% less effective. You say she "just wants characters who attack with high frequency" but the problem is that those are in short supply for budget players. There's no sustain that comes anywhere close to Aventurine's attacks, the closest is Gallagher who is still notably worse, and he's also extremely in demand for both break teams and SP hungry teams. There's no support that comes close to Robin's buffs and action advance, and she's extremely in demand for both FUA, DoT, and hypercarry teams. The most replaceable _is_ Topaz, with Moze sometimes being able to beat an E0S0 at E6 in effectiveness, but it's not all the time and E1S1 Topaz is over 15% more effective. This isn't counting the fact that anything but the full IPC team is worthless in Pure Fiction, and all this means Feixiao is very strong, but also limiting and far too expensive for the average player. Compare this to Acheron who Feixiao was very clearly designed to compete with, and she's useful in all content by having ST level DPS while still hitting all targets, having a much easier niche because Pela and Guinaifen exist along with Trend for any preservation character you might have letting them play double duty as both sustain and stack gen. Then you have Acheron's multipliers ensuring longevity while Feixiao is in serious danger of being the next Jingliu with her pathetic multipliers, pitiful base stats, and massive diminishing returns on buffs. Feixiao is very strong _now_ assuming you have all the pieces she needs, but she has very little futureproofing compared to Hoyo's favorite daughter.
Nice, I'm sick of not having a single duke crit rate chest, I can finally use my giant pile of wind soaring for someone. I might see how my swordplay LC works for her because I don't have any 5* hunt LC's except for yanqings or herta shops. Although, I'm really regretting not rolling aventurine. He's too good for so many teams, but I was out of rolls when he came out.
Basically, for Feixiao being really smart, you have to hope your pasr self made the right choices. As a Robin, Topaz and Aventurine owner, i can congratulate my past self. LET'S GOOOOOOO, QUEEEEEN! Already building my GENERAL!

Definitely puling since I have RAT and could really use someone who works well with Shatter gimmicks. Moze being on the same banner is also super nice for team building. See what my luck is like to go E0S1 or dig deep for E2.
My team right now is Feixiao, March 7th Hunt, Robin, Fu Xuan. I do not have the other characters, and the crit chance buff Fu Xuan gives helps with my bad ring on stats.

I think to put things into perspective Feixiao seems like the Jingliu of 2.X. She will be quite strong upon her release, but the next planet is very close and I think there is a real possibility they drop a Kiana or Elysia unit in 3.X that will be the new DPS standard, especially if rumors of a "summon" meta come true. Feixiao does not seem very future proof, and if you are F2P I'd advise skipping her especially if you already have Acheron and Firefly teams.

What about pairing Feixiao with a counter attackers like Yunli or Clara? Surely they help build ultimate charges quickly for Feixiao if they keep on launching counters during the enemy's turns.

The numbers poweceeep is quite ridiculous. Compared to 1.0 hunt units, the amount of free, 'unconditional' stats baked into the kit is just a sad crystal ball into how fast units fall off. Especially when they keep buffing enemies to make playing old characters just that bit annoying. Yikes.
Finally someone who says alternatives when you don't have robin. Cause I don't have her and will probably don't have enough pulls to get both feixiao and robin.
Here's a question that I don't think you mentioned. Does Feixiao have the same Quid Pro Quo issue that Acheron does? Where Feixiao can be selected for the energy regen but because she doesn't use energy it would do nothing? I've been avoiding using QPQ with her since I was under the impression that it did work like Acheron. If you did mention this in the vid I apologize for not fully paying attention.

Got her pretty easily, ironically enough she works super well with CLARA of all characters, every single counter keeps that ult going, and that lack of hunt aggro is on full display here. I've been using her with Fu Xuan and Sparkle, beefing up crit rate and damage to the roof so I can focus on more attack at base to avoid another round of endless artifact farming just yet.

I always appreciate how Guoba is one of the few CCs who put up actual thresholds/numbers that you want to hit for stats. A lot easier to see if my build is good rather than just saying, "Oh she wants some crit rate."

Feixiao/Topaz/Ratio/Gallagher is my team of choice starting out. I want to enact those scenes from movies where the kid in a classroom gets EVERYTHING thrown at them for some reason.

Feixiao is in a weird place where she's obviously very powerful, but most players already have Dr. Ratio due to him being given away, and he's also very good in the same team compositions as Feixiao. If you're already clearing MoC 12 and AS 4 with Ratio, then the incentive to pull Feixiao just to replace him in his best team seems pretty low. At first I thought I was going to pull her day 1, but now I think I'm waiting for 2.7 or 3.0.
issue she is hunt, you want Topaz with to really pop off, i laugh people trying compare her to acheron, ummm no Acheron isn't as restrictive as Feix, plus Acheron nukes all targets not just one. Personally FUA id rather still run Ratio, Aventurine, Topaz, Robin instead, plus these units aren't restrictive you can use them in other comps especially aventurine and robin, Topaz and Ratio can work outside of FUA, they can be in hyper carry or double Dps set ups as well, they can be used MOC, Pure Fiction and newest one.
@@kyotheman69 yeah no i don't think anything you just said is true. feixiao is very flexible. she just wants characters who attack with high frequency, and she'll be good. this video even showed us four viable sub-dps characters to team her with, and topaz isn't even always the best in all content.

@@kyotheman69Fei isn't restrictive, in fact she is the most flexible Hunt unit as of now, there's even a showcase of her 0 cycle MOC with just robin and aven. She only needs another fast attacking unit, and the very f2p option is M7th who synergizes perfectly with her. And who knows what other FUA unit may be released in the future, but they will almost definitely work well with Fei too
And for anyone who says she needs Robin, well that goes the same as to how Firefly also needs Ruan Mei so she can perform to her max potential. Acheron too has her own premium team (DOTcheron, jiaoqiu, those 5* nihility options). HSR is already at its phase where each playstyle archetypes has their own BIS harmony (RM/HMC for break, Sparkle for SP hungry units, Robin for FUA)
Ratio needs debuff to guarantee his FUA, while Fei only needs team mate's atk. That alone differentiates her playstyle, as she has consistent FUA and straightforward gameplay
Acheron's playstyle is backloaded, and some ppl don't like that (me for example) no matter how much of a nuke her ult is.
At the end of the day what matters to some players isnt only dmg but their enjoyment, duh. If one finds Feixiao's playstyle to be very fun then ofc they'll like her more than ratio or acheron
@@konga382 If by viable you mean 20+% less effective. You say she "just wants characters who attack with high frequency" but the problem is that those are in short supply for budget players. There's no sustain that comes anywhere close to Aventurine's attacks, the closest is Gallagher who is still notably worse, and he's also extremely in demand for both break teams and SP hungry teams. There's no support that comes close to Robin's buffs and action advance, and she's extremely in demand for both FUA, DoT, and hypercarry teams. The most replaceable _is_ Topaz, with Moze sometimes being able to beat an E0S0 at E6 in effectiveness, but it's not all the time and E1S1 Topaz is over 15% more effective. This isn't counting the fact that anything but the full IPC team is worthless in Pure Fiction, and all this means Feixiao is very strong, but also limiting and far too expensive for the average player. Compare this to Acheron who Feixiao was very clearly designed to compete with, and she's useful in all content by having ST level DPS while still hitting all targets, having a much easier niche because Pela and Guinaifen exist along with Trend for any preservation character you might have letting them play double duty as both sustain and stack gen. Then you have Acheron's multipliers ensuring longevity while Feixiao is in serious danger of being the next Jingliu with her pathetic multipliers, pitiful base stats, and massive diminishing returns on buffs. Feixiao is very strong _now_ assuming you have all the pieces she needs, but she has very little futureproofing compared to Hoyo's favorite daughter.
Nice, I'm sick of not having a single duke crit rate chest, I can finally use my giant pile of wind soaring for someone. I might see how my swordplay LC works for her because I don't have any 5* hunt LC's except for yanqings or herta shops. Although, I'm really regretting not rolling aventurine. He's too good for so many teams, but I was out of rolls when he came out.

Definitely puling since I have RAT and could really use someone who works well with Shatter gimmicks. Moze being on the same banner is also super nice for team building. See what my luck is like to go E0S1 or dig deep for E2.
My team right now is Feixiao, March 7th Hunt, Robin, Fu Xuan. I do not have the other characters, and the crit chance buff Fu Xuan gives helps with my bad ring on stats.

I think to put things into perspective Feixiao seems like the Jingliu of 2.X. She will be quite strong upon her release, but the next planet is very close and I think there is a real possibility they drop a Kiana or Elysia unit in 3.X that will be the new DPS standard, especially if rumors of a "summon" meta come true. Feixiao does not seem very future proof, and if you are F2P I'd advise skipping her especially if you already have Acheron and Firefly teams.

She is so awesome. Going to be running her with Robin, March 7th (until Topaz rerun) Lynx I guess lol (until Lingsha rerun) I do like Moze and March 7th does less damage. However she's more comfortable to use imo.
I can already predict that at some point Feral Feixiao : Crimson Moon will be a Wind Erudition that goes unbelievably hard with Her Ult maybe 20-50 patches away

What about pairing Feixiao with a counter attackers like Yunli or Clara? Surely they help build ultimate charges quickly for Feixiao if they keep on launching counters during the enemy's turns.
This isn't about meta, this is personal favorite, that being said I need the game to be gentle on me for once to get her.

The numbers poweceeep is quite ridiculous. Compared to 1.0 hunt units, the amount of free, 'unconditional' stats baked into the kit is just a sad crystal ball into how fast units fall off. Especially when they keep buffing enemies to make playing old characters just that bit annoying. Yikes.

Here's a question that I don't think you mentioned. Does Feixiao have the same Quid Pro Quo issue that Acheron does? Where Feixiao can be selected for the energy regen but because she doesn't use energy it would do nothing? I've been avoiding using QPQ with her since I was under the impression that it did work like Acheron. If you did mention this in the vid I apologize for not fully paying attention.
