@mental amanda meeooww to you're headphones!
I found a song by an aussie rapper you should absolutely react to, most of his music is how he works thro his problems like depression and axeity; the song is called Jordan by Complete
You know you're beautiful, right?
This song is such an introduction to self esteem, to do and enjoy what you love, no wasting time. I love watching you smile and rockin this song, It's your life pretty girl!
I'm so glad you enjoyed this. This is an anthem for me when I'm feeling down.
Hi George. It is a really great song. Thank you for choosing that song.
@@Naugrim1 I'm so sorry about the last zoom. I wanted to hear everything you had to say. With my brain as broken as it is I hope I didn't hurt you.
You aren't broken my love
That is a very lifting song that I didn't really appreciate when I was younger. Life is yours to always reclaim. Keep moving forward.
Oh I know I already commented on this video a little while back, but am rewatching this reaction because it brings me such joy :)
"Frankie" like you pretty much guessed is a reference to Frank Sinatra. Something you may not know however is that Jon Bon Jovi (lead singer) is a grand nephew of Frank Sinatra. Kind of a cool shout out knowing they are related.
My mother loved Bon Jovi and this was her favourite song. IT always Reminds me her. My mom died from cancer 5 years ago, I Hope she is now Happy on the other side.
One of my Moms favorites as well. She passed 12 years ago. May yours RIP and if she led right life she's in an Astonishingly Beautiful place. Words CAN'T describe Justly. Had near death experience was there for few minutes. You ever need a friend reply I'm here for ya.
@@jasonhutcherson6224 Thanks a lot Man!!! Do you want to change some contacts? I would Like to talk with you :D
I know this reaction was 3 months ago, but in my playlist I have this song followed by another Bon Jovi song “Have a Nice Day”. The combo usually puts me in a good mood and a drive to do something new
The young man running in the video is Will Estes you might know him better as Jamie Reagan on Blue Bloods. Nice get with the Frank reference Jon was paying tribute to a fellow New Jersey singere
After my "that time", I put together a small playlist of songs I would listen to as much as I could for a while, all of them had a positive effect on me and kept me moving forward even as I was struggling to climb out of the hole. This was one of them. It and the others (3 Doors Down - "It's Not My Time", All-American Rejects' "Move Along", Jimmy Eat World's "The Middle" and Seether's "Rise Above This") were what I needed when I needed it. I owe a lot to those songs.
Dial up conection is best internet, privacy moments... Nobody can't disturb me with calls when listen my favorite music. I was 20 years old in year 2000😊😊😊
Great reaction. I appreciate the support for us who live with mental health issues. Love that you picked up the references to Frankie Sinatra and Tommy and Gina from Livin’ On A Prayer. Keep on being you girl!
You look so gorgeous when you’re super hyped and happy. Keep your spirits and live your best life.
You deserve it, and know that people appreciate you and your efforts to help others.
Stay fixed, and stay well.
Love the video! Another song you may like is "Reason to believe" by Arch Enemy - it's about not giving up & to keep fighting .
This one and My Life by Billy Joel have both helped me when I'm down. Be blessed!
I remember hearing this when it was released in 2000. Thought it was epic
Amanda thank you so much from Rome, your smile makes me smile, and trust me I haven't smiled since I was a kid, now I'm 32. Your channel is worth 1000 therapists. No joke.
i'm so glad i found your channel because your reactions save my life everyday, hearing your experiences and thoughts so similar to mine makes me keep fighting, not stopping. even when i feel hopeless, i´m lost in my head, i'm still here. i don't know how long, but i'll try to stay here as long as possible. thank you for everything you do for us, you are amazing. i love you
I love you too. Please keep fighting and lean on us as much as you need!
It's so great seeing you enjoy this song. I am glad your doing better. I agree with you're assessment of this song's message. This is a great song and helped me with my depression. Stay strong and God bless.
Glad to see you enjoyed this. Happy to see you're doing well. There's a great anti-suicide song it's a power ballad from the 1980s by the band Kix. it's called Don't close your eyes. You should check it out.
The smile on your face says all anyone needs to know & given the trials life has thrown at you, dayum, you deserve to smile.
Hello Beautiful, I am new to your channel and you are wonderful lady, Thank you for being a survivor and thank you for still being with us
I love this song. Makes me cry now. Espically around 2 minutes in when he sings " for Tommy and Gina who never backed down." Remember Tommy use to work on the docks and Gina worked the diner all day. Well I'm still on the dock my Ginas gone but even now close to death myself with cancer again i won't give up. This song and oddly enough Take it on the run from REO speedwagon are my fight songs next to were not gonna take. Your an amazing selfless person. And you really help my mental health. Been haveing scary thoughts and PTSD from hospital stays and knowing what I have to go through again. I love you and the community here. Amanda you rock. Keep it mental.
We are all here for you. I lost my Gina years ago. What I've realized is that a piece of them stays with us. This pack will stay by your side.
I love this song!!! Thank you for this Amanda!
Two songs you absolutely need to check out are Rush's "The Pass," and Devin Townsend's "Spirits Will Collide." If you haven't already, that is. Both very powerful songs concerning suicide. Home Free's cover of "One Voice" is great, as well.
I absolutely love that you picked up on the Frank Sinatra reference. It usually goes over peoples heads.
Hey Amanda, I recently discovered the channel.
I'm struggling myself with mental health issues at times. Won't go into the specifics here, but most of the time I am in a very dark and cold place lately.
One thing that helped me a lot is one specific album called the valley, especially one song.
It's from Whitechapel and the Song is called When a Demon defiles a Witch.
Little story. The song is about Phil Bozeman's mother who suffered from severe mental conditions. It may have been schizophrenia, or maybe dissociative personality disorder. Basically she saw demons and those demons were torturing her.
She wrote journals about what she had to go through and the song is Phil's way to process his past with his mother.
I'd really like your thoughts on it.
One last warning.
The video is like a very drastic short horror movie.
Keep up the good work. You are making a difference and giving us the power to keep fighting aswell.
Happy to see you react to this one. It was nice to hear you catch the reference to Livin on a prayer, alot of reactors miss that.
Bon Jovi has alot of awesome songs. Look forward to more
Your Channel and your reaction saves my Day
I was away for a long time, but I have never been happier to be back^^ Amanda, you don't know how much of a smile you bring^^
Awesome reaction Amanda!
Hi Amanda, Surfing and ran across your channel. Love the message you are sending. You said you wanted more feel good/uplifting songs, you need to listen to a group named SKILLET and the song, that you will LOVE is FEEL INVINCIBLE, the office one is good. I think you can really appreciate the meaning. Bless You and Take Care of Yourself. Peace and Love
Really really have to do Daddy by Korn. Powerful song about the lead singers childhood. He did the song live, broke down and it took him something like 25yrs to do the song live again.
Oh wow, I didn't remember how good this song is, thank you for share it and react to it
Try listening to "Shine" by Michael Sweet (Lead Singer of Stryper). It is a wonderful, empowering song. Also Sweet's "Not Your Suicide" is a great anti-bullying song.
Stryper has many great uplifting songs including "Do Unto Others", "Near", "Beautiful" to name just a few
Make ya fell good I smile the whole video very cool you rock and do good job keep up good work
ive listened to and watched this music video for years, and its funny that it took me so long to realize the guy in the music video was will estes. the little things you can learn from a song or music video years later is amazing
Funny thing is that in a fanfiction I'm working that takes place in the Hazbin Hotel Universe, this is the anthem of my two main characters. Basically one had lived a horrible life full of bulling and cruelty in the 1960s. And had turned to violence since he wasn't getting any help and had felt helpless and became a serial killer. Until he was killed by the town's people and ultimately sent to Hell. But chose to take revenge which consumed his soul even more, but is now facing the consequences and turns to drugs for help. And a second person who lived in the 1950s was abused by his family but found fortune in business and hid from the public that he was both autistic and gay. But his greedy family told everyone a had sent him to a mental asylum for "help". But before that he took his own life but not without scaring the public with the image of his death. And found more acceptance and business in Hell and found a boyfriend. However, said boyfriend is abusive towards him but he can't leave. So they lean on each other for support and this is the song they play to get through their struggles.
Im a huge dork, my life 40k models and my wife,,,,,,,,,,bless her for putting up with my hobbies.
Oh my gosh. I just found your channel. Love it! ❤ May I recommend a country song Rascal Flatts, I'm moving on. I would love you to break down the lyrics.
You so adorable and we all proud of you 🥰
Your reaction...I love you!
Another upbeat song about living life by Bon Jovi is "I'll Sleep When I'm Dead".
Amanda fun fact the band did three songs that mention Tommy and Gina.
1. Living on a Prayer
2. 99 in the Shade
3. Its My Life ( the Guy and Girl in the Video are suppose to be Tommy and Gina )
Jo Dee Messina has some uplifting songs, like “I’m Alright”, and “My Give a Damn’s Busted”, and “Bring on the Rain”
Bon Jovi - Keep The Faith
another bon jovi's "heavy" song lyrics-wise
Such a feel good song !! :)
I was recorded this song on vcr then watch every day 10 times😊😊😊😊
Hey Amanda, amazing UA-cam video! This is 1 of my favourite Bon Jovi songs along Livin' on A Prayer 😀
You should react to Boulevard of Broken Dreams next!
Yes!! The young couple in this video were an updated version of Tommy and Gina :)
I agree, I think the constant exposure to negativity lets us get complacent. Oh bad stuff happens all the time, that's just how it is etc, but its not. We need to try remember that things can be good and make active choices when we can to prove it
You are a amazing young woman
My Favorit Song from bon Jovi
I had a very half hearted attempt. It was a cry for help but an attempt none the less. The first thing I thought immediately after when thankfully I did not succeed was "Well that was stupid!. If you haven't already, you should listen to Derek Hough - Hold on. It is geared towards prevention and not many people would qualify to sing it but he has had a particular bad experience of being bullied for a very long time as a child. He was bullied so severely by neighboring children that they hung him upside down in trees and put rifles to his head. He once made a speech in which he said something so true. You don't become the tallest skyscraper by knocking down other skyscrapers. You become the tallest skyscraper by building yourself up. Out of something so horrific blossomed something so beautiful.
I would and may have been kinda close to doing just that to get to a show or shows in my lifetime.
Bon Jovi. .... " Dry County" .....epic
Some really good lifting songs i would recomended are Sick of it, Hero, and Awake and Alive all by Skillet
You should listen to Bon Jovi's Hey God. It's not a religious song. To me it is a precursor to this song.
Band : Oceans
Song : Into the void
Strongly recommend.
A reaction from you from that video/song would mean alot. Thank you
I nearly shed a tear of joy when you threw up the horns! 🤘😝🤘
The major key has that effect
If I may make a suggestion on a song to respond to, I think you should respond to "I'm not your suicide" by Michael Sweet. This song is awesome and has earned a permanent spot in my playlist.
Should check out the following by Shinedown:
Daylight
A Symptom of Being Human
Dysfunctional You
I think they are right up your alley.
You may know this by now but Frank Sinatra is Jon Bon Jovi's great uncle. In fact he was named after him. Jon's real name is John Francis Bongiovi. This song was released in 2000. Frank died in 1998 so he never got to hear it. Still a nice tribute.
i cried almost
Great reaction. Can please react to bon Jovi "Always "
a very uplifting song that you might like is "Arch Enemy - The World Is Yours (OFFICIAL VIDEO)" or like mentioned below "Arch Enemy - Reason to Believe" 😀
La mejor banda del world...
He missed the concert and somehow survived a fifty foot fall. It’s Spider-Man!
I'd Recommend you to Listen to Take That Shine it's a Brilliant Brilliant Song
Please Do Avenge Sevenfold Buried Alive!!!
Bon Jovi te levanta el ánimo cuando estás bajoneado
Never too late Threee Days Grace, I have a feeling you'll like it
I just found out that Frank Sinatra was Jon's great uncle and he never let that be known because he, like his uncle wanted to do it their way. How amazing is that?
I've always felt this song was a statement of defiance against the world....only you can live your life so live it your way...some songs to look at that I listen to help me pick myself back up when I fall down are broken and beautiful by Kelly Clarkson, scars to your beautiful by Alessia Cara, fight song by Rachel Platten, love myself by hailee steinfeld, this is me from the greatest showman, diamonds by timmy trumpet, diamonds by Rihanna, and a couple of other songs that might interest you silent screen by Damien dawn, words that don't exist by citizens soldier, and would anyone care by citizen soldier bother asked that question and answers it at the same time....if you would please share that last one with anyone who might be struggling on the edge of that razor blade...I've been there and asked that question....and yes our life's mater and we do make a difference....we might not always see how much of a difference we make but like ripples in water it might be small things but to huge effects...thank you for being beautiful and loving with out limit
I actually did do Would Anyone Care by CS 😊: ua-cam.com/video/OJPwiPnHF04/v-deo.html
Good catchy tune
Next song "keep the faith" bon jovi
You should definitely check out Ghost by Badflower. Badflower is such an underrated band, but what their music talks on... Well.... It's on a deeper level than most people like. Idk what it is, but listening to music that talks about mental health subjects.... It helps me
If you want more uplifting songs check out Legendary-Skillet.
Your so pretty amanda
You should do. Everybody hurts by R.E.M
You are correct, he is making a reference to frank Sinatra. Because frank Sinatra is Jon jovis great uncle.
as a teenager, I was picked on alot and bullied some. but I turned the table on them, showing them I wasn't anyone to mess with, not by physical contact but by other means
Good for you 👍 👏! I personally loved whoopin the dog piss out of a bully! ANYWHERE I could catch them, gym class, football field, hallway, locker room, ect. Take care young Nathan, a bully is just a coward, wrapped up in bull💩, bravado, and fear 😨!..from Wyoming USA 🇺🇸 🤠
How about "Your the Voice by John Farnham"?
Hey there! I have a song you could check out: I Need Help by Knox Hill. It's one of the first of his songs I heard, and it's pretty amazing, I think.
This song feals like a Metaphor to of a Deeprest person going out of deepresion and the Bridch Szene feels like: I need the Action to feal alive
Jon is referencing Frank Sinatra and the song My Way.
How have you never heard this lol Good analysis though!
I had my few go to bands and that was pretty much it! Lol.
Please do react to "Everybody hurts" by REM. I know you'll relate. It'll make you tear up
The jump off the bridge would have killed him. That sign said over 14' clearance, that was a 20' drop.
When I was a kid and first heard this song I thought he was singing "Like Frankenstein I did it my way" and you know what that kinda works too lol
Jhon Bon Jovi : "This is A MAN BAND not A BOY BAND".
A their concert in 2009.
I GOT ONE BY BON JOVI FOR YOU ! LOOK FOR "WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE" , LIVE IN RUSSIA ! IT'S AMAZING ! RITCHIE SAMBORA PLAYS HIS 3-NECK MANDOLIN, 6-STRING , AND 12-STRING GUITARS ! HE ALSO USES ANOTHER GUITAR JUST FOR THE SOLO !
Can I suggest another Bon Jovi song for you. You don't have to do a reaction. It's called I'll go the Distance. Thanks.
Hehehehehe you can tell Amanda's foreshadowing of Sinatra is off sync by veeery little by the surprised face she makes! xD But she did sense it coming!
He mentioned Frank Sinatra in this song. Sinatra was Bon Jovi’s great uncle.
React to no sanctuary by unsecret and carry you by ruelle and fluerie
I never liked those kinds of computers. The iMac g3 is the best computer.
A few seconds after you mentioned Frank Sinatra the lyrics go "Like Frankie said, "I did it my way"" 😀
Please react to bed of roses 🌹 👍
Thing I didn't notice until you paused it there: "Vertical Clearance: 14 feet," Boy jumped something like 20 feet and got up no issue.
