I guess I'll share a story myself. I remember an Ecologist playthrough I did on CotZ+EAP. It was anything but a "pacifist" playthrough...
I am R.A. Shupenov. I was a guard working under Professor Hermann. I was armed with a pistol and an MP5 and didn't have many guards around, but there were plenty of Stalkers looking for work, so we made due. One day, I was sent out to escort some scientists to perform a reading on an area. Was an easy and quiet job for the most part. Only really had to worry about bandits and the local wildlife. On the way back, we started hearing lots, and I mean lots, of gunfire. Turns out, we got caught in a right slogging match between multiple factions. Monolith was moving in fast, clashing with Freedom and Bandits. We were getting harassed by bandits trying to take advantage of the ensuing chaos. Almost lost our bunker to them while I was out monitoring Monolith activity by the Concrete Bath Anomaly. But what I saw out there made me, borderline, shit myself. A whole platoon of Monolith was mopping the floor with a gang of bandits there. These guys were armed to the teeth with heavy armor and LMGs. Basically, Monolith was pushing in hard and there was nowhere you could really go as Monolith blocked the exits. I considered trying to run away regardless but, I knew trying to fight Monolith troops who out-classed and out-number me was just suicide. I also really didn't want to leave my colleges for dead, so I ended up hunkering down in the lab with the handful of guards there. We suffered constant attacks from Freedom, Monolith, and Bandits. I scavenged the dead bodies for anything I can use to survive. Out of the 5 or 6 of the guards there, myself included, only 3 of us remained to defend the eggheads in the lab. Those poor bastards at Yanov Station weren't fairing much better either.
When everything got quiet, I went to scavenge the Volkhov AA Complex. Found an array of AKs and Makarovs with an RPG to boot; ammo included. I didn't realize the amount of time I spent out and when I came back, the bunker was overrun, all personal was dead. In a moment of complete despair and rage I charged forward attacking the intruders. With my new arsenal, I made quick work of the Monolith occupying the bunker. After I cleared the lab of all hostiles, avenging my fallen colleges, I paid my respects and set out to an uncertain future...With nowhere left to go, I began the treacherous and long trek to Yantar, hoping Sahkarov was fairing better...I now stand before the Red Forest. Wish me luck...

I love that this feels more like the life of a basic stalker and not a kind of main caracter (funny to say when stalker already makes you feel this way but still), and it feels fresh, not like the story we already know.
Any word on when the next episode will be out by chance?
