In Nov. 1985, I first heard Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God) on K104 in Erie, PA from Ontario, Canada. I immediately bought the 12" Single and Hounds of Love cassette. I still remember when I first listened to Hounds of Love and The Ninth Wave at the age of 12. I've been a huge fan since and Hounds of Love has been my favorite album to this day. 37 years later, I'm living in Texas and, thanks to live streaming, I can't wait to hear it played again on that same Erie station, now called Star 104.
Kate has NEVER lost the recognition she deserves...she doesn't need the 'young people' of today to give it to her. Those of us who GREW UP on Kate's music always gave her that recognition.
Good music is timeless and Kate Bush sure had an artistic vision! So good to see younger generations discovering her, feeling the same thrill as we did back then!

I became skeptical about the gates opening to a new fandom. But, I now believe that she deserves this redemption. She is a pop music genius. I would love for her to be for this decade what David Bowie was for the 2010s.
