    Very nice! Very cool to see a BMW rider trick out his machine like a Harley rider would!.

      Thanks. In my GS I used power from the turning lights. That’s how they switch orange. White from the power outlet on the dashboard… but the kit has all needed info.

      As minhas desculpas, o comentário ficou retido para revisão e nunca mais me lembrei de ver :(
      Sempre deu para ligar? Não é muito complicado, mas é preciso encontrar um ponto com corrente, que eu usei a do isqueiro, dá para ligar facilmente com as peças que vêm no kit. O outro fio, liguei um de cada lado ao pisca/ indicador de mudança de direção. Os fios têm cores que ajudam e as peças que o kit trás para ligar permitem fazer isso +/- facilmente. Eu não tenho jeito nenhum para estas coisas e consegui, por isso, não é mesmo difícil
      Espero que consiga, se não, qualquer eletricista de auto faz isso em 5 minutos.

    Is white making too much glare when riding?

    • @RuiAquino
      @RuiAquino  2 роки тому

      During day time is ok. At night, with the modular helmet open, is a bit too much

    Please may I ask, when riding at night are the white running lights distracting? Can you see them or are they below your line of sight? You've made a cracking video so thanks for all your effort.

      Joseph Edmund Reynolds Hi Joseph, riding with my helmet closed i can't see the turning lights; with it opened it's impossible not no notice them. But it's a matter of time untill you get used. It's like the dash board or the gps... thanks for your kind words!

    Do you know where the board socket Is ?

    • @RuiAquino
      @RuiAquino  4 роки тому +1

      I used the hot wire from the lighter (12v) below the dashboard. You have to use the other wire from each turning sign/light. Hope it helped. They work Just fine.

    UPDATE: By connecting the blue wire (white color LEDs) to the board socket, when using the BMW battery charger, the LEDs remain on.

    Where did you attach the blue + wire.

    • @RuiAquino
      @RuiAquino  7 років тому

      Thanks, the blue one I connected to the power socket (cable) in the dash board. You can unplug the socket and unwire the cable. Good luck!

      The board socket has two wires 1 red/green and 1 brown. Would i be right thinking that the Red/green is the live which i taping and the brown is the ground which i leave well alone.

      I did like it. When I saw BMW put there logo on the side of the Z3 back in 2002. I said that should be a blinker.

      So ....you`re "that" guy. Wouldn`t it be easier ...more polite, to just compliment the guy, and then simply not buy it because you deem it unnecessary? He took the time to post something to benefit his fellow bikers ...voluntarily after all.

      Roget that bud, appreciate you overlooking my douche moment! BTW checked the 2017 Triumph Bobber today ...MY NEXT FOR SURE!! At 5`7" my GSA is a handful, but this Bobber ...man it felt like a glove! Love the heritage that the Triumph`s have ...the whole "Steve McQueen" king of cool thing you know? Anyway, thanks again and stay safe brother!

      Olá Arrikitifu, não é muito complicado e na caixa vem todo o material necessário. Eu fui buscar a corrente para ambos os emblemas à tomada de corrente no painel de instrumentos (ficha de isqueiro?), não há muito espaço para trabalhar e tive de desligar o cabo da ficha de corrente para conseguir separar os fios; e para a luz amarela dos emblemas, procurei os cabos que ligam os piscas (no cabo que sai mesmo dos piscas) e usei a ficha fornecida para ligar a cada cabo (se me recordo usei os cabos coloridos (castanho de um lado e o preto de outro?). Espero ter ajudado. Boa sorte!
