It was a really interesting video, thanks for that. Digging in old rubbish pits is particularly interesting because you never know what else you can find. Billy does a great job and knows the old stuff really well👍☘️💫🤩
These bottle Diggin episodes are my favorite! Hope I get to go some day looks like a lot of fun! I love finding marbles too. Lots of great finds. GL & HH!💖
Oh man what that dump is going to give you is mind boggling 😲 Already quite a few 100 year old bottles, an awesome baseball themed pipe bowl, marbles, canning inserts, a bottle topper, and other cool items. Excellent dig guys, great video 😀👍
Be on the lookout for a Big Bill's Best Bitters bottle. Highly sought after. Found a broken one about 10yrs. ago and haven't seen one since. Great videos y'all put up.
YEA !!! What I thought was going to be a difficult Saturday for me to get through, was instantly improved and turned around when I saw this new Hoover Boys episode. Ya'lls online personalities, for me, always bring a smile to my face and just leave me happy. To top it all ya'll are doing my second favorite hobby of years past, (second behind metal detecting)..........digging old bottles, glass and artifacts!! Kurt and Bill, I LOVE all of the old colonial artifacts that ya'll dig and educate us about but for me these type of artifacts today hit a little closer to home to me. These types of discoveries enlighten me and give me a better sense of how my grandparents lived as shown by the products they used, the packaging it came in and the lack of modern day convenience items like plastic Cool Whip bowels !!! Even writing a letter, for those of us who remember actually penning a letter or card, was much different for some, brought to light by the old ink bottle that Lauren unearthed. THANK YOU Kurt for giving your time and effort in recording, editing and posting these awesome outings that you and the Boys do. I love that you are branching out in the types of videos you are doing but still able to connect us to the history of our past and letting those of us who can no longer enjoy actually unearthing things ourselves, still enjoy "the thrill of the hunt" through ya'lls endeavors. HH, be safe and always be thankful for another day to pursue your hobbies in good health and with friends......there is nothing more precious.
Good to see Billy in his element. I started digging bottles when I was 7 years old. I'm 60 now. Never had more fun. It only takes one real nice one to get you hooked. Great video guys. Keep them coming.
I've been watching this channel for a little over two years and I'm really glad that you're still having fun digging and making these videos. Keep it up please.
Has Bill ever done a video sharing, elaborating on and educating the UA-cam interested about his bottle collection? If Bill would rather keep his hobby and collection private, I understand and respect that personal space. Thanks Guys! I'm going to educate myself on bottle collecting.
Billy having an off day? Cheer up my man! Billy should make his bottle digging channel on the side, just shoot somthing out once a month to start, sure everyone will love it. Have a good one Billy.
Go detecting an amazing field with the Hover Boys or Dig Bottles with Billy? Can I do both please lol. Great episode those marbles are so cool. Thanks for sharing, good luck, happy hunting and take care.
I love this channel , got me hooked on detecting , unfortunately , 2 years almost with my detector and I have not beeped a target , my health and then my brothers , has kind of delayed my adventures , all is looking good for when the snow leaves . Thanks for all the great content . And LOVE this stuff , Bill Is THE man when it comes to this stuff !!!
Clay pipes would be my all time favourite relic to find when bottle digging. Looking real good Billy👍👍 man you’ve lost some pounds. You’re an inspiration bro.
Awesome ! I have a very good collection of glass . Just love it . I am tickled to see you dig other things! Check those marbles under a black light . They might floress , that's uranium glass ! The green and white could be a peltier very valuable. I know of places to dig where you can find the amount you found in 5 minutes! Thanks Boys !!
Always a good time with a few of the Hoover Boys!! I really want to dig bottles some day! I tried a spot where there was a lot of old cans and realized quickly I need to get a probe👍🏻 still working on that! I love marbles and would be so thrilled to find an old one! HH🎧⛏
Love bottle digging. I follow another gentleman here that does that. The marbles were cool. Had a house built around the early 1900, they put marbles on the cement blocks when set the mortar and block so it would be even every block. They probably didn't have a level so they made sure that the first set was level then just used marbles after that.
What fun! I do enjoy a good Billy Bottles episode. I used to go bottle digging with my dad, so this brought back fond memories. Thanks loads guys, it looked like you were having great fun.
3 in 1 oil was one of many household oils used primarily as sewing machine oil, clocks & guns. I did find a Swiss Clock Oil here in Waipahu, a site I took for granted for so long, & is now closed out-developers. The age range was 1890s-1950s. Last week at our bottle club, a marble guy from Ohio gave a talk & slideshow. W.T. & Co. Is Whitall-Tatum, a Millville, Conn. maker of glassware for the pharmacy trade from the 1840s to 1940s, at least. The custom embossed ones for local pharmacies are most desired. I've found a couple of Hawaiian ones from the 1800s that are prizes.
What's my dig it all brother!? Hey for the real followers we enjoy everything y'all do from your beautiful family to fishing cooking and yes bottle digging so I say keep it coming!! I want you a mill plus 😎😎🤔😛
Kurt as much as I enjoy you digging coins bottles are just as exciting in many ways. To bad so many were smooth, cause content would really make them $$$$$. Good dig even if video was short, look forward to more of these on other than Wed. GREAT JOB to all
I am going to do more bottle digging as well. I think this dump is a few years older than 1920s as Bill says. Pipes were almost completely replaced by cigarettes by 1910-20. Nice prohibition bottle Kurt.
I'd like to find a bottle dump! So far I've only found small piles of mostly broken glass but I have managed to recover 4 nice small ones! Not sure what's going on but it shows that I've already liked this episode but I know I haven't watched it yet! LFOD!!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Finally subscribed after watching tons of your sweet videos. Love all you guys, you crack me up. Going to get myself and my 7 year old daughter a pair of Garrett's. Wanted to travel up to my homeland SE MA where I once lived in a late 1600s British Royal homestead. Gotta go hunt some 17 thirty threeves. Keep up the inspirational work guys!

That takes me back to the early 70s. We used to call those "extract bottles" pumpkinseed flasks. We thought they held liquor. Thanks!
