I agree. I also loved that it was Snow who crowned Regina as queen of all the realms in the finale. Though I would have called her the Fairest of them All. The only thing I would have changed about the finale was giving Regina a chance at true love with Robin.

I understand that in real life many people end up alone and it's not always tragedy, just life, but this was supposed to be a fairy tale... We as fans wished Regina had also personal romantic happiness (besides self-fulfillment, motherhood and leadership, which is great too).

But the person she trusts more than anything, or anyone is without a shadow of a doubt Henry, followed by Emma especially after all they went through; and the means that Emma went to keep Regina from falling back into the darkness, the love Henry gave towards Regina. I believe Henry and Emma are the two people she trusts more than anything. But she does trust snow eventually yes.

I think Regina trusts Emma more in combat situations, Henry just in general in terms of closeness, and Snow with her past. They’re different relationships that stem from different places, so really it may not be fair to judge them quantitatively.

Getting Regina to kill her mum without her knowing was the perfect revenge. Especially using a heart placing it in her and killing instead of ripping it out, Rather poetic.

I'm betting your mother didn't kill the mother of the person who hypothetically killed her, manipulate you into turning into a murderous monster, teach you that love was weakness, and I sneaking suspect plot to kill you and replace you with a younger version. (I still kind of think Regina's suspicions about Cora's plans when she drank that sterilizing potion were probably well-founded.)
Cora never killed Eva, she died of being very sick and Cora pretended to be the blue fairy and gave Snow White a candle that can trade someone's life for her mother's. I'm pretty sure that was the only way to save her so I wouldn't blame Cora.
As I stated before Eva deserved it to be technical she started everything all of this is because of Eva she deserved to die the way she did & I am glad Cora got her revenge I just wish Rumple would've got his on Hook damn man.

Here's the thing. The whole real reason for the stupid 'missing year' plot was so Adam and Eddie could complete Regina's redemption and bridge-building and fence-mending...OFF STAGE. Remember, they do that funny scene with Grumpy asking 'Why did we forgive her?" That was to establish that they _had_ forgiven her, she had done her apologies and made her restitution off-stage. Of course that didn't play very well and left a lot of fans crying foul, but that's where we're supposed to assume she did most of her apologizing.

No, that's going too far. It might have given Cora a personal grudge against the royal family, but Cora was still Cora, and Rumple was still out there. Most of the bad stuff would still have happened, the details would just have been different.
