I lived in Eureka and went to Humboldt State University. Whenever we would go into the redwoods we would start to whisper. It's like an outdoor cathedral. You feel like you're in church. Everybody seems to get these feelings. Great reverence for what surrounds you. You feel as small as an ant. I recommend you all visit here at least once in your lifetime. I've been really blessed.
Thanks for sharing your experience! So true!
I am here now in Humboldt county and my experience in Redwood National and State Parks has been very magical thus far. My mind has been blown! And yes, there is a reverence you have in the presence of the trees!!
I’m located in Australia and it’s my dream to go see them, as well as the giant sequoias!
Too bad they didnt feel that way in the 1800s
John, I recently took the family to Redwoods national forest and you have described our feelings regarding this majestic place. You are truly blessed to be so close to this sanctuary
Our whole lifetime as individuals is nothing but a a blink of a eye to these massive trees. Amazing.
do trees have eyes? go back to school!
Hope I'm here to see ours in UK but I'd probably have to live forever lol
Would be nice without the music ..just the sounds of nature
Right? And still shots?
The music was like murder mystery shit
Or the drivel script..written by a bored person with no passion and V.O. by a bored talent...
Always complaining ya spoilt nuts🚮🤮
Or even better music...this music is awful!
I lived among these giants in Mendocino County. Where the Tallest Trees on Earth meet the Biggest Ocean in the World. A beautiful place to grow up!
Lucky
Sounds like a wonderful place! :)
Spoiled.

I Love Nothing better than being in the woods, away from noise and just enjoying the tranquility.
C M -- me too!! Husband & I toured the Redwoods & hiked many trails & it was quiet & the scent in the air was sweet. Some of those trees are massive & wow! just breathtaking. Was very grateful to visit.
C M je suis toujours trenquil j'aime pas les picure cito thanks bro
Pitch a tent with the creator among his giants, now that beats any church in my books !Halleluyah!
My sister described her trip to redwood national park in such detail, the majestic tall old redwoods and quiet tranquility of the place. She loved it here very much. This is an excellent documentary and beautifully filmed. Thanks for sharing this. So sorry for your loss.
my favorite forest in the world
same
Me too!
Halleluyah ! The Boreal forest is quite amazing also. All forests are beautiful ,but the redwoods were chief of the Creaters ways, like Behemoth, huge.
Words cannot express how much I loved this film. The masterful cinematography and photography, the narration (as well as the quiet moments in between), the unique camera perspectives, the lack of unnecessary drama (animals dying and killing each other) and the passion for nature all came together perfectly to create a very moving nature documentary. One could derive from the narrative that the makers truly love and revere our living world. For the first time, it felt as though the passion for nature matched my own. I will be sharing this with as many people as I can. Thank you for this incredible work of art and love.
This video was wonderfully made by true nature lovers. Give 👍for those taking care of the forest .for preserving the mother nature. Glory to God who made nature so beautiful!
I fell in love with the redwood forest !!! Never have i felt more at peace like i did when i was there.
Psalms 96:12 .
After all those years its nice to see Endor in 4k
It's amazing how these trees survived from generation to generation.
Thankyou so much Thank god for roosevelt and his forestry forefathers ) I m from Tasmania Australia and we have two redwoods that were planted high on a hill overlooking Launceston in the mid 1800's there around 200 feet now .
glad you have them
Tasmania has the tallest hardwood tree on earth called the centurion tree :)
Tasmania has stunning forests. We enjoyed the Tahune AirWalk, Huon Valley.
@@lindaforward3485 So much to see here you possibly only got a glimpse ,Fly over by light plane then walk it brillent ,lived here my whole life bar two years
Wonder why they only planted two? Did someone travel back with seeds from America? And why don’t they keep planting?
Nevertheless cool story I didn’t know that.
such an amazing documentary! if you are a nature lover Redwood National and State Parks is seriously a life goal
So beautiful, and so Peaceful, especially in so much darkness all over the World....Thank you!
Exactly
ALTHOUGH the giant sequoia and redwood are closely related, they exhibit many individual characteristics that distinguish them from each other. The giant sequoia is found growing singly or in groups scattered for a distance of 250 miles along the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada in central California at elevations of 4,000 to 8,000 feet. The redwood grows near the Pacific Ocean along the northern California coast in a more or less continuous belt about 450 miles long and 15 miles wide.
I'm 68 years old, one of the central things on my bucket list is to see these trees.
Thanks for the info. It’s my top bucket list items
been 2 years now, hope youre still thriving and got to see those trees
It's on our honeymoon list in July

The narrator has a beautiful, soothing voice...
It's a delight to watch these beautiful images listening to this voice...
We spent Christmas 2019 in the redwoods outside of Cresent City. Best Christmas ever❤️
How can you spend Christmas 2020 when Christmas 2020 hasn't arrived yet. You mean Christmas 2019.
Sometimes I can't believe that I have lived in the town where these trees presently exist . further more to have truly experience many moments in and around and through an all around this beautiful , enlightened, mystical , natural surrounding. For that I am genuinely grateful.😊👃🌲🌿

Thank you for this amazing film. Everyday we can do things for this planet......
That touches so deep to the soul . . . . Thank you .
Mother Nature at her most awesome. Well done to whoever made this doco. The balance between narration and scenic views was perfect. Plenty of time to just admire the scenery and almost put yourself there without the continuous voiceover of the narrator.
Most beautiful forest! Please protect this precious treasure. 👍
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed your film. We live in Scarborough UK and would have loved to have visited these parks. Our days of long rambling have gone so use films such as yours to enjoy the wonders of nature. Thank you very much and we shall watch your other films.
I hope to visit and see these giants one day..
Amaizing to think how long they have been there and how long after we're gone they'll still be standing...
This is one of the best documentaries I’ve literally seen. Makes me grateful to be a Californian. Yes we all need to take heed to protect these ancient majestic trees for future generations and beyond!!!
The most amazing beautiful tree in world.
What awesome filming's.
Scatter my ashes here.
All of the trees of the forest will sing for joy! Psalm 96:12.Halleluyah.
I hope to see them in person one day. Such a magical place! I think it would bring me to tears quite honestly but in a good way, it would be very moving
Thanks so much for allowing me to experience the Redwoods, it's the next best thing to being there!
I have been through these forests and have walked through the trees in trails . I have stood on stumps so big that you could stand a hundred people on them and I seen a living tree that was hollowed out by fire to become a family home . These trees are in northern California and up into some locations in Washington state along the coast .
Psalms 96:12.
How "stay on the trails" changed from protecting you from the forest to protecting the forest from you...
Same ecosystem but filmed in Vancouver Island
Greetings from Australia.......this was a spectacular video to watch & presentation was perfect.......thanks to everyone who made this filming possible & God bless you all! I love trees & have done so all my life.
Psalms 96:12 . Trees can communicate ,it has been proven . Halleluyah ,so be it.
Beautiful colossal trees! I would love to be there and hug every one of them ... "' Our creator speaks through nature" ... I couldn't agree more ... Great video!
Grateful for photographers! Thank you so much. This is delightful. I remember this magificent place in this world (but not of it). Surely filming this was pure exuberance.🌞 💚🌿💫
Imagine laying in grass as you watch these trees and listening to the birds tweettweet :D

I'm very sorry for the loss of your friend! Requiem aeternam dona ei, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat ei. Requiescat in pace. Amen. Your film is a beautiful tribute to him!
thanks for a beautiful moment in nature........
Is amazing how these redwoods have adapted to wild fires. That they actually NEED fires to thrive is extraordinary!
those are sequioas that need fire
Each time I watch I am more amazed,,,,,,,
Saw the giant redwood in the new forest in England. I had no idea they had them there. It was like seeing a celebrity!
The New Forest has some of the biggest redwoods outside the States - but even so, they're tiny in comparison!
You are looking at the creators handy work ,not some unresonable facsimle.Halleluyah.
I am listening to the book called "The Ghost Forest: Racists, Radicals, and Real Estate by Greg King"! Thank You for helping to save our Giant Redwoods!!! A great book that tells the truth and facts about what happened to all our beautiful trees. It is sad that greed and money always seem to play a part in the destruction of our beautiful Earth! The tallest Redwood tree was 428 ft tall. Guerneville, Ca. used to be a Redwood Forest been there many times and never knew!
Hopefully they will survive even though it is getting more and more challenging ...
i can feel all nature same as people ..love nature ❤
I've lived in salt lake my whole life until about a month ago, I live an hour outside of the redwoods! Its unreal, unbelievably beautiful
HALLELUYAH , BEHOLD ! The chief of his Creations , all the trees of the forest sing out for joy ,Psalm s 96:12 , amein. I always knew they could communicate.

I’ve seen these trees when I was a kid. My parents took a picture of my brother, sister and I standing at the base of the enormous trunk and we looked like ants. Would love to return and see these beautiful giants of the forest one day.
Thank you so much !
Great to hear these beautiful trees are now thriving in my country the UK there are estimated to be 500,000 here way more than in the US of which there are around 80,000 but our trees are still very young but will grow to be gaints in centuries to come and be so awesome for us all to enjoy❤🌲
Great to hear about the UK redwoods but you have some bad information. There are many more redwoods in California than that. 80,000 is a ridiculously low number. There are over a million acres of redwood forest in the state. Something got mixed up in the statistics - probably a confused reporter or something.
Wow, I live in California and always thought that the redwoods can be found only in California (maybe some botanical gardens elsewhere)...But UK?! Interesting and cool!
At very long last I've come to live among these cathedrals of serenity and am able to hear my own heartbeat as I walk through the mist, finally I've shed the clocks and auto traffic to live in the land where my heart has always been drawn. As I write I can hear nothing but the peaceful dripping of sea fog from hundreds of feet above. This is heaven for me, and I'm fortunate to live my last years here, away from testosterone-fueled chest pounders (even those who must write competitively, and sirens and ever-more-gaudy toys.) Tears now stream down my cheeks in thankfulness, instead of temporary relief as I know I've finally come home, where I can die at peace.
Pitch your tent with the Creator and have a deep discussion among the GIANTS! Halleluyah!
Thank you for this film. It fills me with joy and peace. Amazing aweinspiering and jaw dropping!
I am truly loving this video! But I'd like to point out that in California State Parks, they do not allow dogs, even on leash, on the trails in any Redwood Park. They will, however, allow dogs in campgrounds, but that's it. And if you leave your dog in your car, be aware that you can be cited for it.
I love dogs but some places are better without them. No one wants to finally get to this forest to see the trail lined with the poop of hundreds of dogs, or have barking and yelling echoing all over the forest.
Magnificent video, Thank you, a genuine tribute to your friend !!
Amazing! Beautiful! Just the place you'd find a unicorn in
If you are driving from the South, then your journey starts on The Avenue of the Giants which leads you into Humboldt State Park which is where I live!! I love it here!! We have visitors from all over the world all year long!! I wish you could have made a beautiful video about Fern Canyon and Shelter Cove. To come here after our first autumn rain after a couple of days rain in November is unbelievable!!! Everywhere are mushrooms in every color!! Huge red aminitas with white spots. Purple,Orange. Blue, Green and Brown like Smurfville!! I have been here 21 years and every day I am in awe of this paradise. It never ceases to amaze me!
This place is so stunning. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful place.!!!!
Awesome Video! The forest has to be experienced in real life though. It is truly breath taking, and the sounds and smell are amazing.
I am interested in what it smells like...

Just stunningly beautiful, thank you. I will never get to visit this paradise, but I will certainly not forget to watch this wonderful video several times. :)
visited this place earlier this year in Crescent City, CA. it was one of the most peaceful times of my life
Wow, it's beautiful, the most beautiful forest I've ever seen
So nice to see a well-produced video! What a shame that 95% of these great old trees were destroyed for rich people to build a deck.
Now we protect them in state parks
they were cut down so millions could have a house to live in on the west coast.
Not a shame. I say we cut them all down.
@@austins19982 if you’re going to troll with ridiculous garbage like this you’re gonna have to try a lot harder.

its so boring to watch on tv but the feeling you get when you are out amongst them is awesome.
Could not finish to watch yet, btw, already thankful 🙏 love trees , all of them are unique part of nature's harmony , what brings us peace with it's green or yellow or red leafs, dancing with wind and being naked in a winter time , what reminds us about seasons of life 🌍💕

Wow! Thank you for such a Special Video, for us who live in California and can’t go up there to see this wonderful experience, it’s like been there.
My goodness this is a beauty
I’m a Fort Lauderdale native but found the battery at Redwood National Park to be the very same “maddening” type of beauty that is overwhelming and transformative in its scope that we have in Southern Florida which isn’t easily captured by media.
