I'm not an active person but I will definitely go with powerbeats for the bass and sound quality and it looks much nicer than the airpods

@@DailYxDosE the lack of wire is what made it look weird and jarring, its like someone just cut the wire of earpods and call it a day, especially with that long handle(?), really made it look like a pair of mini toothbrushes sticking out of your ears. The new pro ones are better tho because the handle are shorter and didnt stick out of your ears as much

I haven't tried the power beats but I love how comfortable the airpods are. I can be wearing them and completely forget that I'm wearing them.

I used to have the Plantronics voyager for the last 5 years. Over the weekend, I bought the Jabra Elite 65, and returned them the next day because they kept falling out no matter which ear tip I used. The next day, I went all out and got the powerbeats pro and love them. The over the ear loop are amazing and it's what I'm used to coming from the voyager. Loved my voyager and was so loyal to them for many years but the beats are amazing with sound in both ears. If I wanted to I could always take one out and just keep the other one in. Right or left, it doesn't matter. They both work for calls on either ear. Love these and great for gaming. Also, I got mine for $200 at best buy. If they're selling for $250 you could price match off of Amazon for $200 right now, but not sure for how much longer.
I have both airpods are fantastic for daily work phone calls and music at office, and at running time Beats have enough battery and louder sound, plus a bit wet resistant IPX4 (should be IPX7) .I used to use Jaybird Run, I could tell you Beats is a winner. First I watch you two.....definitely you’re a great team congrats!!
Bought the Power Beats last week and love them. I am selling my Airpods... they never did stay in my ear Had to buy inserts for them to stay snug and not fall

Jim Hursh fine, actually! I've worn then with sunglasses and don't notice them at all, although it may depend on the thickness and weight of the glasses arms

AirPods fit me perfectly and I run all the time with them with never having a problem. I love the smaller case cause I work 2 jobs so no matter what either head phones will die and i like just slipping the case in my pockets and forgetting about them. Plus they get a full charge in like 15-20 min. And smaller price tag.
Because I’m really cheap I got a pair of mpow from amazon.. the sound quality is good the comfort is good the battery life is 7hrs and they don’t fall out my ears also I prefer the little cable that attaches them. Downside no recharging case which is not a deal breaker for me. I just don’t see the reason in spending that much money for an accessory that tends to break down sooner than later, has limitations when I travel, and can be lost easily. $20 for decent quality, a win.

The only reason I love airpods is because of the tips. I could wear my airpods the whole day and not feel it digging into the ears like those in-ear earphones.
Farhan739 opposite for me. Airpods get uncomfortable. I got the ivory powerbeats pro and they are really comfortable
The airpods tend to fall off of my ear when I apply pressure when lifting weights (i.e. bench Press/dumbell and incline press), also they tend to fall when I am sprinting. Same would happen with the wired ones, so I think I am just an outlier in terms of the form of my ear. I really can't wait to get the power beats, though they have been lagging to get delivered.
I love my AirPods but I wouldn’t call them cheap by any means. Just because something is cheaper doesn’t make it cheap.
Airpods are more for show & fit the apple brand. They appeal to the iPhone, that's why they're solid white.
Power beats are build for powerful sound & durability. Definitely the reason one is more expensive than the other.
Good review. Alas, the AirPod shape will NOT stay in my ears, or my wife’s ears, even when moving slowly and carefully. They fall out almost the instant we move. So I have to go with PowerBeats or some other design with ear loops.
The Powerbeats are the winner for me: 1 my very top reason is the color, 2 You can use them one at a time without losing any functions, 3 I don’t have tp worry as much about losing them.

Limza Nat they are very confortable on and very secure I used to ride with BeatsX and sometimes one will come loose. Well that don’t happens with the Pros. Call quality is good. Since I have first gen Airpods I didn’t had always on Hey Siri and now that I have them on the Pros I really like it super convenient so I don’t have to take my hands of the handles for anything.
I'm an Jaybird X3 user, I use them for everythig, gym, bike ride to my work and for causal use, but I have a huge problem with the call quality and I want a new pair that can handle every situation with a good call quality, do you think that the Powerbeats Pro can be used for everythig? how are they in a call quality with the wind hiting your face ?

With the default tip I could hear some wind when going at an angle o the Powerbeats Pro so I switched to another one of the included ones that made a better seal and now is sealing properly I can hear anyone clearly and no one have complained yet about the call quality. I liked the Jaybirds too but the call quality was poor and the proprietary charging sucks.
Papa Smurf those issues happened quite a lot with Powerbeats 3 from what i’ve heard but hopefully they’re all fixed with the pro!

I actually returned them because I had some Sony 100xm2's that would use just to be cheap and not have an extra pair of earphones, but love the fun sound to them and that I can actually run and sweat and still keep em on , so will be returning to Best Buy to grab them again

It’s pretty simple:
If you want the better sound and are willing to carry a brick of a case around get the Powerbeats.
If you want simple phones in a small package get the AirPods.
No it all should come down to sound quality and comfort of use. Size of the case should not matter that much.
One gripe I had about all non-fully wireless earbuds (ie buds connected by a wire) is when running with them, either the buds and/or the wire would cause a thumping noise in my ears. Do you notice any difference when running with these vs non-fully wireless earbuds?

Theses no control customization on the Powerbeats because all functions are already mapped whereas AirPods there’s no volume and you have to CHOOSE between play/pause, next track, and previous track whereas the beats have all of this AND volume on each ear.
I’m contemplating on whether to get airpods or beats. I’ve watched other review videos and they say that both are good but when you wear beats for a long time it gets uncomfortable. Is that true? Did anyone have the same uncomfortable experience?
cindy ramos I am wearing the Powerbeats pro right now and yes it’s true they do feel slightly uncomfortable and hurt at times even, but I’ve owned both AirPods and Powerbeats and if I had to pick one it would be Powerbeats solely because of my active lifestyle (I workout)

I received my PowerBeat Pro about 2 weeks ago, just in time for my vacation trip. It works beautifully. It is easy to use and it sounds great. Switching between my iPhone and my MacBook Pro is seamless. On the other hand, I have friends that bought the AirPod and they told me it came off occasionally when they took off a sweater or hoodie, which is not a good thing. Last but not least, longer battery life is always better.
By the way, wireless charging is really a moot point to me, because it is simply too slow to charge wirelessly.

Main factor for women. You can wear your hair down all the time while wearing the Powerbeats Pro but gotta wear the hair in a ponytail with the AirPods or you’ll risk having them loosen up from your ear with all the movement and hair adjustments.

The only problem I have with the Powerbeats pro is that they don’t have the find my beats which I think is ridiculous seeing as it’s owned by apple and has all that apple integration already.. and why no wireless charging?? They should have all the features of the AirPods plus the premium of being beats but just my opinion.

One thing you didn't mention is since you have kids, can you pair both to an Apple TV 4K at the same time (since all are BT 5.0)? Right now my wife and I share one pair of AirPods. It would be nice if we could each use our own pair so we can watch TV while the kids are sleeping.

I would definitely go for the Powerbeats headphones not the AirPods! I don’t wanna worry something falling outta of my ear each time working out and running excuses! I order the Powerbeats pro! Today on Amazon $161. I think I will like them! I bought the cloud pink sweat and water resistant! Cause I sweat and if I get rain on I know there safe! The price may seem little more but there worth I think in my opinion!
I find my Powerbeats 3 wireless headphones great for working out, but they are a HUGE problem for me when running. They are always coming loose or falling out and it’s the most annoying thing. Will the Powerbeats pro have the same problem or are they designed better so that’s not an issue?

Your head shake test may not be totally accurate because you weren’t sweating. I would think working out with them would have been a more accurate test for in ear stability.

For those looking or thinking of buying the Powerbeats I just got mine yesterday and I have to say I love them but I’m also very active if I’m not running I’m at the gym lifting so it makes it worth it but honestly for just a daily use the 270 dollar price point isn’t worth it I would just buy the 160 air pods the sound isn’t even that much of a difference if I’m honest but the noise cancellation is quite impressive

My power beats keep only connected to one side so I need to put them back in the case to get them to work again, also it doesn’t always work when I pause my music and try to resume it. I’m thinking about switching over to the air pods
