Did you end up wishing you had 2 of the watercolor books or did one work out? I'm considering this because the books look so good! But I'll have a 4th , 3rd grade, and preschoolers. Not enough for my big kids you think? Thanks for your help!
Definitely just one watercolor book!! We haven’t used any pages from it, just from the packet. So I’d get one packet for each of the kids! I think the big kids would love it!! But it might not have the depth that they can handle at that age. I’m sure you could make it more challenging by adding in maybe a science book as a spine for reference (DK has great ones) and work harder on learning the definitions of terms
I'd be extremely interested in a review of this curriculum after you have used it. I know I'm not in a spot to use it this year, but I'll have several littles for some years to come so I think at some point I will be able to do it. I'd like to see what kind of Concepts the material is covering, how long it takes to do a lesson, etc. We've loved using beautiful feet books before and I have no doubt that you will thoroughly enjoy this curriculum. I will definitely post updates on how it goes for us! I’ll start working it in in September, so maybe I’ll do a first impressions after a couple weeks and follow up with a more formal review after a few months 😊
The lessons are season based, so I think you might mean within each season can you skip around? For example our first set of lessons is “autumn story” and it has 3 ‘sub-lessons’ (forage, preserve, & decompose each of which are 2 weeks) and you could do those 3 in any order! But you would want to keep the main lesson (autumn story) in the fall along with the other 5 main topics. Hopefully that answers your question ❤️

I’m actually sitting here fighting with my printer trying to print it 😂😂 i have the canon tank and it printed black and white okay, but trying for color so I can give a good flip thru!! Wish me luck 🤣
