So a couple thoughts. - We can reasonably assume that, since he is known as the king of the underworld and operating a black market logistics company, Umed likely has the ability to be wherever he wants to be, Grand Line or not. - We know there is a way for ships to go underwater and pop up on the other side, none the worse for wear. Essentially, we have sailing ships that can serve as makeshift submarines. - We know there is a phenomenon that can take entire ships and their crews into the sky. So we can extrapolate that the inverse also exists. Now what if Umed specializes in this? He'd be able to predict when and where a vortex would show up, he would deliberately get swallowed and then ride the undercurrents to where he needs to be, completely unnoticed by those on the surface, and he'd just exit these undercurrents and float up back to the surface whenever he'd be at his destination. And since he is apparently under Shanks' protection, we can assume that Shanks is aware and capable of using this method aswell and that is the reason none of his crew have devil fruit powers. Does this hold up? Is it watertight, so to speak?
Watching your videos make me appreciate One Piece even more. You guys do a great job in highlighting the intricacies Oda has crafted so carefully. Dawn and Dusk is truly the king of youtube one piece content creators

I actually thought Garp was going to die about two years ago. After Oda said the final battle is going to be with everyone in the world, I tried to think of what could cause every group in the world to get pissed. The only thing would be the death of Garp. He is friends with the military, the Pirates, the Fishman and the revolutionary army. His death would make everyone of the main groups upset with whoever killed him and trigger a massive war
Even if Oda leaves hints that Luffy won't find the One piece first if that's what happened it will be the worst OP chapter for me . 1100 chapters about Luffy and his journey to find the One Piece, all the hardships he's been through, all the battles he's fought to get where he is, all for some lucky guy like Baggy or BB who hasn't accomplished half of what Luffy has done to find the One Piece. That would be particularly unfair! Plus it spoils Robin's dream ! Robin is the only one who has to decipher the ponegliff, the only one who has to tell the real story and lead the texts to Laughtale (not Pudding!)
How do you see this? Glad you don't do chapter spoilers or random whatifs and speculations without having anything to back it up. So boring when others do it
