The reason she acted awkwardly on the audition was Susan had had Asperger syndrome which is part of the Autistic spectrum. Diagnosis at hospital. Susan came from a small village near me, Susan played pubs and clubs, she also looked after her sick mum til she passed away in her modest childhood home. Look at her now, worth millions. Watching someone see this for the first time is like watching it for the first time. I've seen this dozens of times and it never ceases to amaze me. Haven't seen every moment in real talent auditions, but I think this is possibly the best there is. I don't think you could create a more ideal setup to reveal this voice to the world. No need to make it transparent and interrupt a lot, because it has NEVER BEEN BLOCKED anywhere else. 47 is NOT "OLD" MY goodness, are you kidding? You think someone 47 is too old to sing?? Do you know that many rock stars and other singers are MUCH OLDER than 47 and are STILL PERFORMING!! When Susan performed this audition, SImon Cowell was 50 years old, 3 years older than Susan, in 2009.
I cared for family members until they died and my nephew who I brought up from being 6 months old he’s 35 now. He told me last year that he wanted nothing more to do with me so I’m living my life now I’m working and I have some great friends

She was not photoshopped. Yes, somebody can sing like that. SHE'S the one who can. Why did you have to keep stopping? Why can't you just let her sing all the way through? As to how she could sing that well, she has a trained voice. She sang in the church choir for years.
People mock because they are cruel inside. Might not want to admit it but their true colours come out eventually. Some people think they are superior to others or they feel superior if they can make someone else feel bad about themselves. They are called bullies and they come in all shapes, sizes and ages. You know, my dad taught me The Golden Rule when I was a kid and I didn’t care what someone looked like or their background to make friends with them in school. Though I do remember disliking the snotty stuck up rich kid.

Approximately the same time as this performance of Susan's, I saw another Got Talent show by some man, of simple origins... I literally burst out in tears as he belted out his first note! As strong and as forcefully but just as smoothly as any opera singer! If I recall correctly, he was an untrained singer and merely made his living as a mechanic or something else as humble as that. :-)
