I love it when the first tutorial I picked to watch is on point. No need to keep looking for a better tutorial, there isn't one!

This van build is phenomenal. Extremely envious. The fact the seats match the bed sells it very well.

Excellent video. Thank you for the suggestion of using a duvet cover and taking the time to video the steps of covering those cushions. Thanks to you I have a clear understanding of how to cover my peeling RV cushions. 💕

Absolutely brilliant. I think those of us who voted to keep the old covers were just wanting a bit of colour. You have certainly chosen very well indeed. I would just say don’t go for gold stripes on the walls or anything that would be just too much and ruin the effect. Very well done Rick xx

I absolutely enjoyed your process and how you worked it out. I’ve also done some buttoning and instead of tea towels on the back side to pull the button on the front tight, I used a smaller button on the back and was able to get it nice and tight. The tea towel method was good though! I love new to me ideas to use materials on hand. The fabric you chose is gorgeous, I love it! I think the backsplash would look better with hexagon tiles now with that fabric but that’s my opinion and it’s off topic lol.

I had to reupholster my partners piano stool a couple of years ago beacause when it arrived new it stank of amonea for some bizzar reason! I had to cut a new base, and wash the foam. That was quite a learning expirence and that was just for one tiny cushion!

I love the new covers! I think they tie in perfectly to the van. The goldish yellow ties into some of the colors on some of the signs on the wall so all looks great together! And I say don't add any more gold stripes!

I was wondering myself why you hadn't originally thought about just stapling the back cover on Rick. Not sure if you know but you can get stainless steel staples, we used this same method years ago in my old friends sailing boat but went SS staples, this was because of the salty environment.
It looks great, nothing wrong with a touch of VIP bling Rick 😉🥂👊!

Not sure Rick. That clashes as bad as the old cover with its gold geometric linear design. At best it matches your VIP lounge sign. I would have at least redone the buttons & lined up the pattern with the pattern on the top cushion so that they match.
A safer look would be to choose a plain cover the same colour as your cab curtains without a pattern, as it would look less busy & its less trouble having to line up a pattern. You said it yourself that bold colours (or design) means you tire of them quicker.
BTW, i don't know who suggested yellow works with grey but id definitely question their dress sense 👀😜😁
